After the Cropped Event, I have to admit to being just a bit tired … the event took place in the USA and we’re six hours ahead of EST, so I was being creative in the early hours and getting to bed around 4.00 am for three nights (or mornings!!). So my creativity has been a bit limited for a week or so.
However, in the absence of being creative, I’ve been blog-browsing and have found a brilliant challenge blog called simplylessismoore (I’ve put the link on my sidebar). It’s just as you would expect … to paraphrase the blog, card designs with clean lines, minimal elements, areas of white space and few or no embellishments. This is for me I thought … and set to … mmmm … shouldn’t have thought so fast!!
I always thought the designs I came up with were fairly minimal, but it’s amazing how challenging it is to really hold back the urge to add layers, ribbon, embellishments, etc etc. So I did lots of playing and used up tons of scrap paper to come up with what I hope will meet the guidelines for the challenge … see what you think in the next post!
Live with intention … Anita
