CAS-ual Fridays CFC75

Bon dimanche a tous le monde!    CAS-ual Fridays (http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com) have made a huge announcement this weekend (it’s been hinted at for a while) … the launch of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, and there’s a preview of the first five sets on the blog (see side bar for the new badge), with a chance to win them … oooh, they’re just so delish and we’ve only seen the first two so far … as the phrase goes … woot woot!  They’re designed by the super talented Michelle Gross and are so perfect for CAS cards … can’t wait to see the rest 🙂

So, onto my card.  This little caterpillar (or is it a worm??) is so sweet and I’ve used it quite a few times as it is for birthdays, it looks really different depending on the colours used.  It can be adapted loads too … cakes can be masked off and googly eyes added for little (or big!) boys cards, eyes can be altered easily to create different expressions, and then today I discovered another option … I made it longer by double stamping/masking and leaving an extra couple of body sections in place.  It allowed me to meet the ‘over the edge’ theme for this week.  I’d planned the sentiment for the bottom left but when I tried it out, it just didn’t seem to go, hence the ‘in a line’ design.

Supplies used:  Cardstock:  Crafter’s Companion, Stamps:  Penny Black (image), Kaisercraft (sentiment), Ink:  Hobbycraft, Colours:  Promarkers.

Hope you’re having a happy, crafting weekend … thanks for dropping in … Anita
