CAS-ual Fridays CFC80 (Gift Tags)

CFC80

Did you ever have one of those weeks where the days all roll into one and you can’t think where one ended and another began … or even where one will end and another is due to begin?  Mmm, I’m having one of those!  I only just squeaked in with my card in for CAS(E) This Sketch on Tuesday and now I’ve found myself well over time with Playdate Café.  However, I am still just about ok with CAS-ual Fridays so here’s a little gift tag that was going to be for the latter two … PDC (which explains the black, white and a splash of red) and CAS-ual Fridays.  Given my complete absence of good timing, now it’s just for CFC80!

I used an embossing folder that came as a freebie with a magazine, and on the debossed side, I picked out the indentations with black glaze pen.  The star I did with red glitter, added the pearls as baubles and tied on the three colours of ribbon.  Tag done!

Recipe:  Cardstock: Crafter’s Companion,  Embossing: Cuttlebug/Docrafts,  Glaze Pen: Sakura,  Glitter/Pearls/Ribbon: Stash.

I’m planning on having a calmer time once the weekend arrives … and being a bit more compos mentis for my next post … perhaps!!  Thanks so much for coming by and particularly so if you’ve had time to make a comment … Anita 🙂

Beautiful! I love, love, love the elegant vibrancy of black/white/deep red on Christmas cards! Great job debossing – the image is so clean & crisp. This technique remains a challenge that I have not yet conquered….many tried attempts , all in vain! Time must slip by all of us no matter which side of the earth we live on! Same scenario – missed the deadline at PDC! Oh well, now I can use it for my Unscripted Sketch DT card!
