CAS(E) this Sketch #9, CAS-ual Fridays CFC82 (Even the Score), One Layer Wednesday #118 (Snowflakes)

CTS9, CFC82, OLW

Three challenges just fell together perfectly this week … CAS(E) This Sketch, CAS-ual Fridays (where scoring must be a feature) and One Layer Wednesday (where this week’s host, Cheryl, has chosen Snowflakes as the theme).  So, I followed the sketch as it is, added scoring for the cords and as you can see, there are snowflakes!

As I am still snowflake-stampless, a one layer card with this theme is a bit of a stretch … so I chose a pearlised dark base card (night time?) and doodled my snowflakes in white … adding dotted lines to the scoring for the hanging cords and a different sized gem to each snowflake for a bit of bling.  A ‘Happy Christmas’ finished it off.

Recipe:  Cardstock: It’s called ‘Gemstones’, I don’t know who makes it,  Fineliner: Pilot,  Gems:  Papermania, Lettering: Docrafts.

Hope you’re having a good week … thanks for popping in … Anita 🙂

You call this doodling…..seriously? Anita, these snowflakes are perfect! I honestly enlarged the photo to see the fine detail and perfectly spaced lines that you ‘doodled’. I’m thinkin’ you need to bump up your definition of doodling girl!!! This is truly exquisite! All the elements are positioned so effectively! Love the shimmery ‘night’ card base. Three challenges in one – sweet!

Love the shimmer on this! Beautifully drawn snowflakes, too! I guess you don’t need any snowflake stamps (I hoard them – LOVE snowflakes!). Thanks for joining us at CAS(E) This Sketch this week!
