CASology Week 25 (New) and CR84FN Week 69 (Raspberry, Lavender, Neutral)

A wish for all the DTs at my favorite challenges (do check them out on the sidebar if you haven’t played along already), to all my visitors and frogger followers, and to all the lovely new friends I’ve cyber-met over the last few months …

Joyeuse Année … Health, Happiness and Inspiration in 2013!

This is my first card of the year … it’s for CASology, where the cue card is ‘New’ (and where three new Designers have joined the mega talented DT … Judy, Maureen and Meghan … check out their inspiring creations!) and for CR84FN, where the yummy colour combination is Raspberry, Lavender and Neutral … I just had to make good use of a combination that included lavender after making my little lavender delights during the Christmas/New Year break!

CASology25, CR84FN69

New baby leapt into my mind when I saw the CASology Cue Card and with the soft colours from CR84FN, it just had to be for a little girl … so I aimed for sugar and spice and all that’s nice!  It’s a very long time since I did a tall narrow card, but this image just cried out for it!  The base is neutral and textured (I know, it looks white and flat in the photo!), with the edge scallop-punched.  The buggy is a die cut done using raspberry and lavender papers, but I had to change the wheels … the originals just didn’t work so I did a bit of mechanics to take them off and replace them with something more blingy!  I added the tiniest little heart shaped gem to the gingham heart and used rub-ons for the sentiment.

I’m off to have a wander around blogland  … thanks so much for coming by, and especially so if you’ve had chance to make a comment below … Anita 🙂

Supplies:  Cardstock: Docrafts,  Papers:  Stash,  Bling: Papermania,  Border Punch: Fiskars, Die-cut: Cricut, Stretch Your Imagination Cartridge
