Less is More #101 (Black, White, Touch of Colour), CAS(E) this Sketch #10

Equilibrium is suitably restored after yesterday’s interruption in service … and frustration with gremlins is but a distant memory!  Anyway, I took all that energy and put it into a couple of cards … this one is for Less is More where we have a colour challenge this week … black and white with a touch of another colour … and for CAS(E) This Sketch, back yesterday after the holiday break.

LIM101, CTS10     We'd love you to display our banner

I was having a wonderful wander around the lovely Bev’s Happy Dance last week and spotted this splendidly fun and punny card in her wonderful collection of creations … and I thought (as you do) … moooh look, black and white … Less is More … and a cowrd idea was born.  Thanks so much, Bev, for the giggle and inspiration 🙂  The layout was a long time coming (days actually) but my conundrum was solved when I saw the CTS sketch last night … suddenly, idea met sketch and voila, it all came together … yay!

So, I printed out the sentiment on the computer, added and coloured the image and finally doodled the notes.  One moood music loving cow!

Thanks so much for calling by … Anita 🙂

Supplies:  Cardstock: Crafter’s Companion,  Image: Woodware,  Ink/Colours: Sakura,  Sentiment:  Lithos Pro Regular Font.

What an adorable cow! I wish I could say we had equilibrium here – we’ve got teacher labour issues and school was going to be closed today for the teachers to ‘protest’, but in the end, at 7:30 this am, they decided that the protest would be illegal and schools are open. What a morning we’ve had! lol! I love the bold black and white (and a little pink) – thanks so much for playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch this week, Anita!

Turned negative energy into a positively sweet card! Ha Ha – you sure showed those gremlins who’s the boss! Clever idea! Love how the grass represents the swirly image of the sketch! This cow is so ‘udderly’ cute. Isn’t it wonderful to be inspired when we blog stalk our crafty friends! Bev’s card was so sweet! Well done 🙂

Hey Anita! Thanks for the shout out! Your little girly cow sings to me!!! She is sooo cute, and your card is darling. Well worth any conundrums. Lots of white space, crisp images, simple sentiment (not to mention punny), all the things I adore. Love those little music note doodles too. Wonderful. This just makes me smile! ; ) Bev
