Less is More #102 (One Layer Card – Sport or Exercise)

When I read the challenge at Less is More at the weekend, there was an audible intake of breath (it’s OLC week!), quickly followed by a long gasp (Sport or Exercise… what?!).  However, after a lie down in a darkened room while these sensations went away, my brain started to power up and play a bit.  It took a while though to come up with an idea that was workable on a OLC … but after a good deal of training, the team are ready to reveal the fruits of their labours …

What d’you mean, you’ve never heard of synchronised hula hooping?  Try googling it … it’s there, really (I was stunned!).  OK p’raps you won’t find hula hooping cats, but I was being creative!  The sentiment (can I call it that?) was done on the computer and the stamp is one of the Penny Black 12 Days of Christmas set … the hoop was originally a diamond/gold ring so I masked it off.  Other than that, I just played with colours … the cats did the rest!

I have another card to share tonight, so I’ll save my meander around all the other Limettes’ entries till tomorrow.  Thanks so much for popping in … Anita 🙂

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Crafter’s Companion,  Stamp: Penny Black,  Ink: Hobbycraft,  Colours:  Promarkers,  Sentiment: Computer Generated – Century Gothic Font

This is just completely stinkin’ cute!!! I am lovin’ the creative and whimsical side of that you are sharing with us in all these beyond adorable cards! Absolutely “precious” (which by the way, was the name of our first cat…who was probably 900 lbs, so hula hooping was out for her!) Great idea to give each of them their own jacket color too!

Not sure how I missed this one – so cute! Now heading back to the ‘foreign’ speaking dogs. You’ve got such a great sense of humour and I love how it translates to your cards!
