Unscripted Sketches #193, CR84FN70 (Aqua, Tan, Light Yellow)

What a fabulous sketch at Unscripted Sketches this week, that lends itself to something CAS-ish  … and equally fabulous inspiration from the design team!  I’ve worked with the colours from CR84FN which are so deliciously gentle and pastel-y … Aqua, Tan and Light Yellow.

I stuck faithfully to the sketch, using tan polka dot paper as my base.  The daisies were punched out of white card, had the stem and leaves doodled and were mounted onto three different shades of aqua (IRL much more vibrant than they appear). I stamped the sentiment, matted it onto light yellow and coloured the daisy.  Gems for the flower centres finished it off.

As you can see, I’m having a bit of a challenge trying to get aqua to show well in the photo (had the same thing the other day with this card) … even when I do some tweaking on Picasa … if anyone can shed some light on what I can do, I’d be grateful!

That’s it for tonight … it’s been a lovely party day today with lots of cards and photo’s to enjoy at MASKerade … so to Ardyth for setting it up and to everyone else who posted for Darnell and Kevin’s celebration, thank you … what a fun time!  Thanks so much for coming by … Anita 🙂

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Crafter’s Companion,  Paper:  Bo Bunny, Stash,  Stamp: Stampendous,  Ink: Hobbycraft, Promarkers,  Gems: Papermania,  Punch: Woodware

This just made me smile! Not too plain, not too frilly, it’s just right! I’ve been struggling with this sketch a bit, but you’ve nailed it. Really wonderful card. Bev

Stunning card…this looks like it would have been a difficult sketch but you nailed it and so beautiful too.
