Less is More #105 (Kraft and Cream)

Happy 2nd Birthday Less is More!  To Chrissie, Mandi  and Jen … thank you so much for such a brilliant challenge … it was the very first one I played along with way back in October last year and have enjoyed every one since!  Each week you inspire us with fun themes and amazing inspirational examples … your commitment, encouragement and hard work is so appreciated!  Mandi … so delighted your new adventure is going so well (and looks gorgeously delicious!), even though it means you will no longer be involved in LIM … I wish you every success as your business grows.

So, onto my card … I’m just about squeeking in under the wire with one … haven’t managed many this week as my hands (and brain!) have been otherwise occupied … however, wouldn’t want to have missed joining in on such a special occasion!  The theme is a colour one … kraft and cream …

LIM 105              "Less is More"

On a cream base, there’s a kraft frame with the flower cut out using Cricut Lyrical Letters cartridge.  The flower heads were dotted with Perfect Pearls and the flower centre with a single (unsparkley) gem.  I doodled a border around the frame, stamped and embossed the sentiment and added some Perfect Pearl dots in front of it.  The frame was then mounted on foam dots to add some dimension … I tried to capture it in the photo … there’s a little bit of shadow cast by the flower!

Back to the plasterboard … I’ll be blog browsing later to enjoy all the other entries.  Thanks so much, as always, for taking the time to come by … I so appreciate it!  Anita 🙂

Stunning card Anita! This die cut is is gorgeous – it just seems to belong to kraft paper. Love the doodled border. Great job photographing it to show the raised panel – no easy feat! Will drop you a line later 🙂
