As mentioned in my few-minutes-ago post, this is my second offering for CASology‘s ‘Circle’ cue card. It’s also for this fortnight’s challenge at Addicted to CAS … the lovely Sue is the host this time and has set the code word ‘Masculine’.
This time, there’s just one set of concentric circles, cut out of the centre of the white card base panel using Cricut Accent Essentials. I folded each circle in half, marked the green base to create the ‘spine’ and adhered the white panel to the base. The folded circles were then opened flat again, put back into their ‘space’ on the base and I started sticking … left side with the biggest semi circle, right for the next, and so on, all the way down to the smallest one, making sure the folds crossed one another at the spine. The ‘free’ halves add the dimension.
I’m rather happier with this than with the last one … the narrow circles work better, the whole image is ‘lighter’ as there’s just the one set of die cuts, and the colours are simpler. Think I might do some more of these at some stage using different colours … feminine, sunny, fun … lots of options!
Off to be inspired with a wander around all the other entries … thanks so much, as ever, for coming by, your visits and comments make my day! Anita 🙂
