Paper Smooches SPARKS 25 Feb – 3 Mar (Picture Perfect)

I have a quick and fun card for Paper Smooches SPARKS to share with you tonight and it’s a Picture Perfect week … this is the inspiration photo (with speech bubble in French so of course I love it!) …

and here’s what I came up with …

PSS 25-2

I was inspired by the smoochy finger kiss going on in the picture and by the humour … so I set to with PS Fruitastic lemons, stamped onto different DP.  I then restamped them onto light card, coloured the luscious lips the brightest red I have, fussy cut them out, and added loads of lipstick glossy accents.  The lips were adhered to the lemons, which in turn were fixed to the base panel, one flat, and the other two on different depth foam dots.  Final touches were the dotted scoring, sentiment (also from Fruitastic) and the twine.  It makes me smile!

Moving on … yesterday I posted a 3D circle card in green and white (here) … whilst the finished card may have looked complicated (not helped by the explanation I did!) it really wasn’t, it was so simple.  With hindsight (which is always 20/20!) it would’ve been better to take photo’s of each stage and explain it that way, it would’ve made it clearer.  So my apologies … next time there’s something similar, there’ll be pictures!

Finally tonight, I’d like to warmly welcome another friend to the ranks of the Froggers … Skye from  Blue Sky … if you’ve not come across Skye, do go and explore … she does wonderful work and her colouring skills are simply awesome!

Hope you’ve had a happy, crafty weekend … thanks so much for coming by, I really appreciate your visits and comments.  Anita 🙂

This makes me think of summer time. Lemonade (with a splash of gin in it!) made from real lemons. Yum. Super cute card–again! Love this. Bev

These have got to be the best dressed lemons I have ever seen! Seriously lookin’ fine and sweet (yes sweet) with the radiant red lips! The dotted line gives these gals the wee ground they need! “Pucker Up” …. you are just too clever! Winner, winner……
