CAS(E) this Sketch #17

First of all, I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to my fellow members at Muse Card Club for the Featured Member shoutout yesterday … what an honour … I’m smiling from ear to ear about now (and will be for quite a while)!  Big thanks also to everyone who left me a message about it, you were bearers of such good news!   If you haven’t played at Muse yet, pop over and check it out … there’s always a stunning ‘muse’ card to take inspiration from each week, there are such super talented members who create stunning cards (more inspiration!)  and we get to vote for our top three … how brilliant and fun is that?

I have a card to share today for CAS(E) this Sketch … it’s a fab sketch by Jackie Rockwell (who by the way has done a really helpful blogpost on how to approach challenges, full of advice, hints, tips and links (here) … brilliant if you’re a bit of a newbie like me!  Thanks so much to Ardyth  and Darnell for the link 🙂

Isn’t this fish such a cutie … he’s a freebie from The Alley Way Stamps, as is the sentiment.  He’s fussy cut and popped up, coloured with Promarkers and has a little touch of Stickles for his scales. He’s swimming through wavy unknown DP from my stash and chatting through doodled and coloured bubbles.  Oh, and I turned the sketch upside down!

That’s just about it for now, I’ll be taking in all the inspirational submissions a little later and meandering round blogland to catch up.  Thanks so much for coming by, I really appreciate your visits and comments … Anita 🙂

Another winner Anita! Taking your inspiration from that wee slip of DP is incredible…you saw ‘waves’ and your birlliant idea took shape. Sweet shading on the fish (fins to body). Clean and simple eye candy at its finest!
