The beyond talented Susan is the host at One Layer Wedneday this week and has set us the challenge of using any geometric shape repeatedly on a card. Not being well endowed with geometric shaped stamps, I chose an arrow … cause then it would be easy to do by hand!
Later edit: In their comments, my friends Hannelie and Bev prompted me to submit this card to CASology‘s ‘Up’ challenge this week too … thank you ladies, I hadn’t even checked out the cue card! Three things occur to me … first, can I do that (add it on)? Second, this’ll be the first time I’ve entered a card for CASology so early in the week … I’m almost giddy it’s so soon! Finally, my ‘Way to Go’ is pointing down rather than up … important??
I used a ruler and pencil to mark where the arrows were to go across the card, joined the dots with a black fineliner and coloured the resulting pattern with Promarkers. The colours (sort of masculine) seem to suit the angular arrows, although it would be equally fun in jewel or pastel shades … just different. I added a gem on one arrow to point to the Paper Smooches sentiment stamped below it in Stazon Black … it’s such a black black and it goes well with the black arrow lines. Arrows … way to go … too much of a groan?
Another couple of friends have joined the Froggers this week … a very warm welcome to batuck and Karen … and thank you! I can only find an email address for you both, ladies, so if you have a blog or gallery and you’d like me to add a link, please let me know 🙂
That’s it from me for now, I’ll be meandering through our delightful bloggy world a little later. Thanks so much for popping in, I really appreciate your visits and comments! Anita 🙂
I love your fun row of arrows!
Super card I just LOVE the pattern it forms!!!… if you think of it, this could qualify for the CASology challenge ‘up’ as well!
Great fun card, Anita!
So flippin’ clever! I’m sure I shouldn’t say this, but if there was a winner for this challenge, I would vote for this for sure! (Although the accountant in me is shouting WHICH way to go – up or down! lol!)

I am following your blog, as that is the best way to keep up with you lol! – I did not want to rely on just coming upon you by accident. Love your creativity – best wishes, Ann (Australia)
