CAS(E) this Sketch #28

I’m playing along at Cas(e) this Sketch today, where the sketch has been provided by the talented N@Ali.  This week sees Ardyth‘s last DT card for us at CTS … she’s been an amazing inspiration to so many of us and I know we’ll miss seeing her deliciously clean, graphic and  uniquely ‘Ardyth-esque’ interpretation of the sketch each Thursday.  Thank you so much, Ardyth 🙂

Onto my card …

1-CTS 28and here’s the sketch …

I cut all the elements with Cricut Accent Essentials and coloured the sunburst and all the little rays with Promarkers.  The panel had a circle cut out and the sunburst was popped up on dimensionals on the base in the gap.  The cascading sun rays and rhinestones were fixed in place, the sentiment (WPlus9) was curved round the sunburst, and the panel was popped up on deeper dimensionals.    Voila!

On a separate note, I’m delighted to welcome Lucy from lucyscraftycards as a new friend and Frogger … thank you Lucy :).  You may already have come across Lucy’s blog … if not, do go and have a wander round her fabulous CAS creations … and enjoy!

As for me, I’m going for a meander around the other entries at CTS … thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

I’m so loving this card, Anita! The minute I saw it, it just felt happy and sunny! Love how you’ve used the blings to accent the whole design. (I’ve been using my Cricut today too–just waiting for the stickles to dry before putting it all together.) This is another wonderful CAS card–two thumbs way, way up! Will em soon! : )

This is so darn clever! I love the sprinkles of sunshine, Anita! Fantastic! I also love that you tilted the sentiment to fit the sketch – that’s something I would not have thought of!
