A Birthday Bash for Bev!

You may know Bev at Happy Dance … but just in case you don’t ’cause you’ve been living on another planet somewhere, here’s a little about her.  Bev’s a sweet, caring and warm friend who’s endowed with such a truckload of talent and humour that her cards always have that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ … fun, style, originality.  She’s encouraging and supportive to those around her, both in blogland and in the real world, has a huge heart and is a downright good soul.   She puts the ‘happy’ in Happy Dance :).

Our mutual friend Hannelie spread the word that Bev’s birthday was coming up … and today is the day!  So Bev … Happy, Happy, Birthday my friend, blessings to you … have a wonderful day and an amazing year to come … our small corner of the blogosphere is a better place because we have you to share it with …

In honour of Bev’s birthday, I put my brand-spanking-new-first-ever stamp set from PTI to work on a linen card panel … and put my brain and fingers to work learning multi step stamping (phew).  The base card was sponged to match the flowers and sentiment,  the stamped panel was adhered flat to the base, I added a strip of sunny yellow grosgrain ribbon, and finished it off with a tiny twine bow.

If you get the chance and haven’t already, pop over to Happy Dance for a birthday visit with Bev and join in the celebrations … you’ll be so happy you did!  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂
