CASology #62 (Arrow), Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge 18/9 (STAMPtember)

After my last long post earlier, this is a quick one!  I made a (very CAS) card for CASology this week, where the Cue Card is Arrow.  I’m also submitting it to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where we’ve to use something from the store.  I used Memento inks.

These stamps came in my globe trotting package from PTI … I’ve hankered after the Square Prints set forever and as I now have it and there’s an arrow head shape on one of the squares, this was the perfect time to ink it up.  With a bit of careful measuring and a light pencil line, I managed to get the colour blocks lined up on only the second go so there’s still plenty of room in the paper bin.  The sentiment was stamped using the blocks as a guide.  I scored a border around the white panel and mounted it on a black base.  Done … very CAS!

That’s it from me for the weekend … I’ll be wandering around blogland a little before bed, so may see you there.  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a delight!  Anita 🙂

This is a fabulous design. I just love how you used those squares, and your stamping and lining up is perfect. I have that set, and have not been consistently able to line them up, so I don’t use it too much.

I had thought about using this stamp set for CASology but didn’t get around to it! I love how you have used it with the outer colours much stronger-another delight!

Very cool! Love that set, and am so happy you can align things so nicely – I just can’t seem to after the first couple! Lol. Love those beautifully graduated colors, and the very cool HB! Another winner for sure!!!

Girl…you continue to amaze me! Executing such precision stamping with “light pencil lines and careful measuring”….. is totally a gold medal performance in the 2013 Stamping Olympics (which are currently being held in Blog Land!)

The beautiful gradient colors of the arrows are the perfect background for the bold sentiment! Love the scored border too! Amazing attention to detail!

Hi Anita, How nice to “meet”” you. Thanks for the welcome to blogging. I’ve scrolled through your blog and you are very talented. I, however, cannot draw a straight line with a ruler and that is the truth. I try so hard, work on a mat with lines, have a T-ruler but to no avail. It doesn’t happen for me but that’s okay. Come by again and say hello.
