Muse #36 (Karen M), One Layer Wednesday #159 (Free For All), Simon Says Stamp Wednesday 25/9 (Anything Goes), Simon Says Stamp (Stamptember), Online Card Class (Insider)

Made it … phew … back for another post with my second card of the day.  The lovely and talented Karen from Made by Meadie is the Guest Designer at Muse this week and has given us the most gorgeous inspiration card (a bit like all her cards really) … if you haven’t wandered round Karen’s blog, go have a visit, there’s a generous helping of splendid deliciousness waiting for you.  At One Layer Wednesday, Karen from Snippets is the host and has set us a wide open challenge … Free For All … very cool.  I’m also entering Simon Says Stamp Wednesday‘s Anything Goes challenge and Simon Says Stamp’s Stamptember Event.  Finally, as I’ve used a little of my learning from Day 1 of the Insider Online Card Class, this is going in the Gallery there too …

I followed Karen’s muse quite faithfully … I haven’t done very much spongeing or stamping like this, so it was really good to play.  I masked off the centre of the card, sponged it with blue and aqua and then stamped the Annabelle Stamps flower clusters … some in lavender to give a very slight shadow and some in a darker blue for a more pronounced one.  The nearest clusters were stamped with white versamark, embossed in white (with shimmery bits in).  I used a ruler to draw the lines top and bottom and finally added the sentiment.

As with my last card, I did a little something on the inside … sponged a scrap of card, stamped the flower cluster, nestled the second part of the sentiment close to the blooms, trimmed it and edged it in black before popping it up on dimensionals.

One last thing … I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to my fellow Muse players for the Honorable Mention for my flower card last week … I so appreciate it 🙂

That’s my card making weekend complete … I’m off for a meander around blogland.  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a delight!  Anita 🙂

Is it ok that I’m tempted to make a card using your inside as my outside? I love this technique and the fresh blues and I think you’ve captured the Muse really well. Thanks for joining us!

Gorgeous card, Anita – Monsieur Mojo has returned with flair, pizzazz and oodles of style! Stunning – and the wee version inside is nothing short of a perfect compliment to the outside. Love it! So glad you took a trip into blogland to share the Annabelle news with me! I’m happy dancing with excitement!! Now, maybe I’ll be able to join Andrea’s challenges…thanks so, so so much for keeping an eye out! Hugs to you!

A knockout, Anita, and another winning card in my book! I thought at first that the inside was another card! I think it would be brilliant on the front of a card! Doing it this way will make the recipient feel like they are getting two cards in one! Genius!! Hugs, Darnell

I scrolled down before reading and saw your “insides” and thought … ‘She must have taken the Insider class too!’ Great opportunity and execution on the inside! The front is so beautiful and appealing. Love the white embossing against the the darker stamped flowers.

Anita this is so stunning, I love those beautiful blossoms. You were a much better student then I, I haven’t had time to watch any of the videos yet! {insert shame here} 😉

Absolutely beautiful! Your sponging is flawless, as are the gorgeous stamped flowers! Of course, I’m swooning over the inside as well. A sweet wee version (minus the white) to delight the lucky person that gets to open this stunning creation!

    By the way….another WINNER, WINNER…guaranteed!
