Therese‘s inspiration card at Muse this week is delightfully spring like … perfect for those who live in the heading-into-the-warm-season part of the world (and those who aspire to be heading into warm!). The Monday Moodboard at WPlus9 is full of bright blooms too, so I used some of their stamps for my card so I could play along there. At CAS-ual Fridays, we’ve to use real or faux stitching … check out the flower stems … and because the image and sentiment are stamped, I’m submitting again to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday (Use a Rubber or Clear Stamp) …
Here’s Therese’s cupcake bouquet …
I was inspired by the spring blooms in Therese’s card … so did some stamp set combining. The stems, leaves and sentiment are WPlus9, and the tulip heads are from The Alley Way Stamps. I also picked up on the touch of twine and on the colours Therese used … they’re bright, fresh and spring like. My nod to the cupcake is in the sentiment!
I’d like to express a really big thank you to my fellow Muse players, for voting my ‘blooming’ card into a Featured Member spot last week … I’m sooo appreciative of your encouragement!
It’s heading round to bedtime for me, so I’ll finish up for the weekend … I’ll be wandering around tomorrow to catch up and see what everyone’s been doing. Thank you so much, as ever, for coming by … your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂

Anita…this is simply as sweet as they get! Love your adorable bunch of posies and the baker’s twine, just the perfect addition.
This is a beautiful take on Therese’s wonderful card, Anita! I’ve scrolled back to catch up with the posts I’ve missed and, as always, your cards are divine!! I’m delighted to hear that you are having fantastic weather which means more opportunities to be outdoors and productive ~ the best of both worlds!! Hugs, Darnell
This is lovely – the sweet pops of colour are fresh and joyful! Thanks for playing along with us at Muse this week!
Your card is so so pretty Anita, love the subtle textures in the background a great choice for this design!
Your card is so clean, fresh and pretty! I love the colors, they’re year ’round favorites of mine. We just happen to be heading into cooler weather where I live in Arizona, US.
Love your interpretation of Therese’s card, Anita! Those blooms are so dainty, and I love the textured card.
Gorgeous card Anita – I love your flowers and what a lovely sentiment too – hugs xx
Hi Anita. Such a bright and fun card. Love the colors … and the stitched stems are adorable! Loll xx
Such a cheerful little card, I love the little stems. And the textured card is great 🙂
your card is absolutely brilliant, anita! using the sentiment to create the illusion of the cupcake bottom is genius!!
First of all, what a delightful spring garden you have created! The flowers are so beautifully anchored with the twine – great job mixing and matching stamps! The linen paper is gorgeous (I have yet to even open my package that arrived last week). My favorite part of your card is your “sweet” sentiment that absolutely cements the link between the MUSE card and your own! The popped up panel loos great too!
Yep, calling it again….winner, winner….
What a fantastic take on all three challenges. I love your spring like flowers. Great idea to use faux stitching for the stems.
Such a beautiful CAS card! Love the flowers and the sentiment!
Thank you very much for joining us this week at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
hugs…
Melissa

I’m running around blogland like a maniac, trying to catch up on what I missed over the weekend (soooo far behind!), so apologies for being late commenting on the lovely spring garden you’ve created! GORGEOUS!! Thank you, again, for your always warm comments on my site! You have the knack for beautiful cards and beautiful words! Hugs to you, dear friend!

Love the stitching on your flower stems, Anita! Your thin mat and cute little bow really tied the card together. Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
Something seriously wrong with me… I didn’t see this one either!
It’s a stunner.
