Less is More #142 (Tree), Addicted to CAS #24 (Transparent), A Blog Named Hero #34 (Embell-ope)

I have a card to share this evening for Less is More, where the theme is Tree, Addicted to CAS where Christine is the host and has chosen Transparent, and for A Blog Named Hero, where we’ve to embellish an envelope to go with a card.  I made my first shaker card …

LIM 142, ATCAS 24, ABNH 34

The image is from Hero Arts with the spaces in the letters coloured with Promarkers.  I cut a tree shape out of the front panel, mounted some acetate in the space, added some sequins and attached the stamped image panel using foam tape.  The twine was wrapped and tied in a bow and the panel attached to the base card using foam dots.  I stamped the edge of the envelope with the same tree image and again coloured the spaces in.

Before I go, I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to Kylie and the DT at ATCAS for choosing my tumbling leaves card (here) as the CAS Perfectionist in the last challenge … what an honour, I was so delighted!

Need to get this linked as there are only moments left … I’ll be back soon.  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a delight!  Anita 🙂

Hi Anita. This is amazing!! So creative and fun! Love how you’ve filled in the letters to add some color in the tree. Sequins for a shaker card – so unique and original! And the colors are so pretty … especially that soft blue card front. Great job! Loll xx

This is lovely Anita. Really like the modern feel of the tree and the echoed rounded edges. Thanks so much for joining our challenge at A2CAS.

You had me gasping for air when I saw your colored-in letters! Then when I discovered this was a shaker card….welll I darn near had to run outside for a blast of cold (non smokey) air! This is so….cool….can’t quite come up with the right word, but “cool” is really close! Love the textured card stock. Nice touch with the green twine – it “ties” all the colors together so well 🙂

Of course, the decorated envelope is beyond sweet! The lucky recipient of your card will get a double dose of your amazing creativity!

    Looks great!

What a great little card, love the colours and the colouring of the letters, what a clever idea. Not made a shaker card for years, hmmmm think I may have to get my big roll of foam tape out and have a play 🙂

This is so very cool. Love how you did the card with the die cut and the shaker, and the envelope takes such great advantage of the stamp. The two together are just so perfect.
