I’ve been looking forward to playing along with the Papertrey Blog Hop Challenge since taking delivery of my first PTI package recently … and this month got myself organised enough to do just that … yay! So the challenge is to create a set of five (or more) gift tags and we can go as simple or as complex as we like. I went very simple …
I love the look of white on kraft … and as my stamp-a-ma-jig arrived this week, I could double stamp these images from Merry and Bright Additions to get a stronger white without getting apoplectic about making a big spodgy mess (like I did the other day when the leaf cut out was necessary!). All the tags were stamped with the image and sentiment first and the ‘dressing’ evolved once I saw how they turned out. The borders are glittery and shimmery, and the tiny ornaments are the confetti from inside them. A little star gem was added to each tree to finish off. The decorations give the tags a lovely bobbly texture that I rather like … and I think you would too if there was a touch and feel facility available on this computer. Sadly that’s not the case … but IRL there’s bobbly-ness!
It’s waaayyy past the witching hour here, but even so, I’m still going for a wander around to see what everyone else has been inspired to create. After all, the clocks go back tomorrow and that means an extra hour of crafting sleep. Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂
