Following quickly along from my last post, here’s my second card for the Waltzingmouse Pyjama Party … this time the theme’s Classic Christmas … which dovetails nicely with the inspiration photograph at the Curtain Call, where I’m playing for the first time. At CAS-ual Fridays, the theme is Create with 8 … make a project where we use eight of something, and I’m linking up again with Simon Says Stamp Monday‘s It’s a Mystery challenge … I’m a newbie at Curtain Call so that’s mysterious for now!
On a white watercolour panel, I stamped the WMS mistletoe, masked it, stamped it again and drew the colour into the leaves using an aqua brush. The berries were coloured with Promarkers and given dimension and shine with Glossy Accents. I punched a tiny hole each side of the stems, threaded the ribbon through and tied the bow, before stamping the WMS sentiment. The panel was then mounted on a card base edged with red.
A final couple of things … the mistletoe leaves are the eight for CAS-ual Fridays … and Claire at WMS suggested we might want to consider an interactive card … d’you think the bow might count if you have little ones learning to tie them?!
Off to link … just 16 minutes left and counting! Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂

Beautiful. I love that image – so unique – every time I see it.
I love this image too and you masked it so beautifully. I know they are traditional colours but I just love red and green together at Christmas. Beautiful card especially with the added texture from the watercolour paper.
