Monsieur Mojo was a bit quiet this week … till today when he gave me a hand with a couple of cards … one here, and one to follow. I’ve accepted the invitation to attend the Waltzingmouse Pyjama Party for the first time this month … this card’s for the ‘Thank you very much for being my …’ theme. It’s also my first time playing along at the Colour Q, where the colours are kraft, pumpkin pie, bashful blue and more mustard, and as WMS and CQ are both unknown to me (and therefore could be described as mysteries!), I’m linking up to Simon Says Stamp Monday where there’s a ‘mystery’ theme. The layout comes from the sketch at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday so I’m joining in there too.
The feathers are from Waltzingmouse, stamped and trimmed out, and the banners are dry embossed and sponged. I mounted one banner flat and one on low foam dots, and adhered the feathers with high foam dots along the spines. The twine was wrapped round the base panel and knotted round the quills of the feathers, and I finished off with the WMS sentiment.
I’m rushing a bit to get this linked and my next card photographed, posted and linked … all before the party finishes at WMS (I have 49 minutes!), so I’ll get on! Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a delight! Anita 🙂
