CAS-ual Fridays #124 (Happy New Year), Less is More #151(Revisit), CASology#76 (Party), Keep It Simple #30 (Anything Goes)

Happy, Happy New Year … wishing you blessings, good health, and joy, today and all year!  With that in mind, anyone for celebrating with pink champagne … from a fountain …?

CFC 124, LIM 151, CASology 76, KIS 30I’m celebrating today with CAS-ual Fridays, where there’s a Happy New Year  theme.  I’m also partying with Chrissie and Jen at Less is More … their gift to us this time is to revisit a previous challenge … I chose Week 149 – Metallic Plus One.  The team at CASology are also throwing a Cue Card Party and Keep It Simple have an Anything Goes theme … so I’m fitting all that into my wild social calender!

The little glass (from Woodware) started life thinking it was for red wine … but once stamped in gold, the images morphed into rather delicate champagne glasses … I helped just a little by cutting off a section at the top of each one.  When that was done and the glasses were trimmed out, the champagne was poured into each one with a Promarker and plenty of bubbly irridescent glitter.  I cut a white panel, edged it with gold strips, stamped part of a Hero Arts sentiment and added a gold line top and bottom.   The glasses were assembled into a stack, popped up with foam dots (tricky work not to spill the champagne or break all the glasses) and the panel was popped up on the card base.  Finally, more champagne (Stickles) was poured in to create the fountain … it’s one of those particularly bubbly champagnes … see how it gushes rather at the top?  Yum!

Whether you partied last night or today, I hope you had a wonderful time!  Thanks so much for popping in, your visits and comments are always a delight!  Anita 🙂

A fine, fine example of creative genius dear friend! THIS IS BEYOND CLEVER! I love how your design ‘building process’ morphed into this fabulous card! The bubbles are so sweet and such a great idea! Lots of bling and sparkle….the perfect way to ring in the new year!

Thing is though, it would likely take me one full year to recover if I were to ‘sip’ up this collection of sweet intoxication!

    Winner, winner for sure!

And boy, would I like to lay underneath it all and catch the overflow! And yummy pink champagne too. Love this. The textured cardstock is perfect. You rock girly! : )
