Rushing in with a card to share for three challenges, one of which is open for just a short while more … hence the dash!
So, my sqeaking-in-at-the-last-minute stop is Less is More … it’s One Layer Week and this time we’re playing with Hearts. I’m also joining in at the shiny new Card Concept … another fabulous challenge from Lesley Croghan, who’s put together an awesome team of 12 designers to inspire (and guide) us with six different card making styles (two per style). The colours for this (rapidly disappearing) first fortnight are luscious … kraft, pink, vanilla, espresso … I’ve used them in a Clean and Simple style (I think!). Finally my layout’s inspired by the most recent sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch (where there’s plenty of time left if you’d like to play along!)
The feather image is from Waltzingmouse Stamps, masked to get the two intertwined and the hearts in the right spots. The feathers were then masked again, along with a space for the sentiment, and the Annabelle Stamps fine lines border was stamped over the top. I finished with the ‘Thanks Chickie’ and hand dotted a couple of lines underneath.
I’d like to say a warm hello this evening to new follower Kate, who lives at Pinned & Penned. Kate has a wonderful CAS style you can check out for yourself with a visit to her blog … she’s also a published poet and sews … an all round creative soul! You’re very welcome Kate, and thank you! 🙂
OK, I need to go and see Mr Linky. Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂
