So, here’s my second card of the night … the opposite of the earlier one … soft, feminine and rather girlie …
At Papertrey’s Make It Monday, Dawn has challenged us to use a new technique … generation stamping line images. I took the colours from the subtle palette at Colour Me! and I’m playing at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, where there’s an Emboss It theme.
The single bloom image is from Technique Tuesday … I’d have used a Papertrey one but I only have solid images, and the technique doesn’t work as well with them. I randomly stamped the flower using the grey, pink and saffron, and each flower image was offset slightly three times to get the effect of generational stamping. The Papertrey sentiment was stamped in grey, I used a positioner to overstamp it in Versamark and then clear embossed it so it’d be a little more bold among the flowers. The final touch was the bling in the middle of each bloom.
Time for me to be in bed … I’ll be enjoying some quiet time in blogland tomorrow, so may see you there. Thanks so much for coming by … your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂

Wow…what a beauty Anita! Those colors with your choice of stamps it a match made in heaven. Love it!
Yes….so very soft, elegant. It’s amazing how easily you switch gears from bold & bright to soft & pretty without missing a beat! The offset flowers stamped in grey play so nicely with the sentiment, while the lighter shades fill in the spaces with soft touches of color! The rhinestones seem to act as magnets to draw us in to the centre of the flower, perhaps finding a hint of flowery fragrance! Absolutely gorgeous card Anita!
