As some of you now know, it was my birthday last month … yep, celebrated, toasted, caked! So, you can imagine my utter surprise (nay shock!) when I came in tonight, checked Feedly and found that my sweet friends Bev (Happy Dance) and Darnell (djkardkreations) have organised a surprise belated birthday party today … a month to the day from said event! Thank you so much, Bev and Darnell! Yes, I know … all of you were in on the secret!
It’s not often that words fail me, but tonight I find myself struggling to express just how much I appreciate every single one of you. You’re unfailingly generous, warm, supportive and encouraging … you brighten my life as you cheer me on and inspire me every day. What an astonishing and amazing community this is … I’m so blessed, honoured and delighted to be part of it 🙂
I’ve been over to see Bev and Darnell … and have seen the gallery of wonderful cards you’ve all made for me. I’m so looking forward to spending some happy hours meandering through them all … I’d love to be doing that right now, but I’m due to be with friends for dinner in less than half an hour and I’m still in all my work wear glory!
So, I wanted to let you know how much joy you’ve brought me today … Bev and Darnell for organising such an awesome party … and to every one of you for celebrating with me. I’ll be round to see you just as soon as I can, to say a proper and individual thank you. For now, though, suffice to say … my cup truly is overflowing. Thank you so much … from the bottom of my heart! Anita 🙂
