A card came together tonight that was inspired by a few challenges … and as a couple are closing very shortly, I’m posting it quickly!

ATCAS 39, AS May, CQ 244, AEI♥U 8, SSSW 28-5I stamped and white embossed the Annabelle Stamps lined border a few times onto textured card, trimmed it to an angled panel and watercoloured the spaces using a smooshed ink and water mix.  Once it was dry, the panel was popped up on the textured card base on foam dots and I stamped and embossed the Avery Elle sentiment.  IRL there’s loads of texture here (imagine running your fingers over all those embossed lines!) … it just wasn’t catchable with the camera.

I’m playing along with these challenges …

Wow, this is so cool looking Anita! I love those beautiful summer colors and I can just imagine how the embossing feels! So hard to capture the texture on camera, but I know in real life it is just awesome! The picture of it is pretty awesome too. Hugs, Brenda

You handle stamps and ink like professional artists handle paint and brushes, Anita. This is spectacular, as usual, and another winner in my book! (And way to handle the melding of challenges, too!!) Thank you so much for your kind words and for playing in the ATCAS texture challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

Fabulous card. I really wish I could touch those embossed lines, but I will have to take your word for it. The water colored panel is just gorgeous.

I closed my eyes and imagined running my fingers across your card …corduroy instantly came to mind! I adore the angled panel – looks so cool with the lined image! Yep, I agree with Darnell…we’re looking at another winner here!

Sorry that I’ve been MIA – still trying to get all my planting finished!

Anita this colouring looks so precise, goodness knows how you manage to do this so beautifully. I struggle with these angled cards, the colours are so perfect for a guy x

This is fabulous, Anita! For a second I thought you’d hand-coloured the panel (no embossing)! It’s still a feat of engineering and skill to have colourwashed so perfectly within the embossing. I predict a win or five with this one 🙂

I know the stamp you’ve used to do this and …well, you’re a creative genius to use it like this!! What a fantastic look and so expertly coloured/painted in between the lines too. Love it :0)

Oh, the colours are so delish, Anita!! …and I can imagine how lovely those embossed lines must look and feel IRL!!! Must have taken some time to do all the colouring, but it was definitely worth the effort – very neatly done!!! The stripes look beautiful mounted at an angle and the sentiment fits perfectly!!! Stunning!!!
