Make It Monday #169 (Vellum Overlays), CASE Study #197 (Pamelo Ho), Color Throwdown #298 (Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder), SSS Monday 23/6 (Use This More), SSS Wednesday 25/6 (Anything Goes)

Well that wasn’t too long a wait for a one handed post … here’s my second card …

MIM 169, CASE Study 197, CT 298, SSSM 23-6, SSSW 25-6I used PTI’s Sketched Shapes to make the circle grid … each circle double stamped to make the criss cross pattern … and a gap was left for the sentiment.  I stamped and heat embossed the the vellum overlay with a PTI sentiment and wrapped it round the stamped panel, adhering it to the back.  The stamped panel was mounted on vellum, which had already been edged with a Promarker, and the whole thing was popped up on foam dots on the card base.  The tiny gems were the finishing touch.

I’m joining in with these challenges …

Make It Monday – Vellum Overlays (great video from Danielle)

CASE Study – Pamelo Ho’s circles/vellum overlay card

Color Throwdown – Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder (my closest colours to them)

SSS Monday – I Ought To Use This More (Vellum)

SSS Wednesday – Anything Goes

Off for a short meander around the blogosphere before bed … may well see you there!  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Soft and subtle. This has such a gentle feel to it. My word, how do you do it every time??? Your cards are always such a delight. I could look at them for hours. Those circles are brilliant in those beautiful colors…dang girl!

Such a pretty card, Anita! I love the soft pastels you chose for the circles, and how you stamped them to create your pattern…brilliant! I also love your vellum sentiment strip…it’s the perfect elegant touch for this stunning card!

Absolutely gorgeous! The texture of this paper is divine…and works so well with the velum! Love the soft, muted colors of your cross-hatched stamped circles! The Promarker colored velum mat totally sets off the main panel design with this bold, yet subdued color!

BTW – You will definitely be ‘burning up’ the winner’s circle with both of these creative beauties 🙂

Isn’t vellum fabulous!! I don’t use it very often (for some reason I find it a bit daunting) but it certainly looks amazing with your card, especially with the white embossing. Fantastic idea to double stamp to make the criss-cross pattern. And the colours are so lovely and soft. Well done typing one handed, hopefully this time next week you will be churning the cards out!!!

Seriously, not only is your card exponentially beautiful, but I’m wondering how you managed to fashion such amazing stamping and embossing with one hand!! Double-doozy impact, indeed!! The soft colours, the criss-crossed circles, the vellum-background sentiment…another WOW x WOW!! Hugs~c

Oh, what beautiful colours, Anita and I love how you’ve stamped the circles twice to give a lovely criss cross effect!! I sooo love the look of vellum and you have used it perfectly here!!! Lovely card!!!
