Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and good wishes on my exciting news (today’s earlier scheduled post) … I’m not only smiling all over my face … my heart will stay warm right the way throught to next winter! THANK YOU!
This week, I really wanted to play along at LIM as my lovely friend, the delightful Darnell is Guest Designer (Yay!). Life’s been a bit crazy, though, and as many of you know, I’m not a quick card maker … so I wasn’t sure I was going to make it (need to get a move on even now … Mr Linky closes his doors in just 20 minutes!). Support came, however, from Winnie & Walter’s Share The Love Week, which features a 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge … so I gave it a go. Darnell coined the term QACAS (Quick and Clean and Simple) and is a genius at transforming Penny Black Stickeroos into the most amazing cards … I took a leaf from her book and made this …
I stamped the beach using an Annabelle Stamps border with lots of different sand (ish) coloured ink and added the PB sandcastle-building-happy-soul … all of which took about two minutes (without the stamp being cleaned afterwards). Then I took over five minutes to figure out what sentiment to add (see, not a fast card maker!) … eventually a Simon Says Stamp ‘wishing you lots of’ and a Winnie & Walter ‘happy’ just seemed to fit perfectly with the image. The ‘happy’ has been coated with Wink of Stella … just one coat … it took me so long to decide on the sentiment, there wasn’t time left to add another! The time taken … just 9 minutes 52 seconds! It was timed on my watch … if I had a mobile phone, I would have timed it on that and taken a picture … but I don’t have one, so I didn’t!
I’m joining in the fun at …
Less is More – I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside
Winnie & Walter – Share The Love #2 (10 Minute Craft Dash) & #4 (One Layer Card)
SSS Monday – Boldly Go Into STAMPtember
SSS Wednesday – STAMPtember Stamp It
Hoping to get some shared computer time over the weekend to get round blogland and emailonia … unless I have my laptop back, in which case I’ll be spending happy hours doing both! Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂

I’m so delighted you were able to get in on the seaside fun over at LIM, Anita! Your UNDER 10-minute card is just perfect and so representative of how we all feel playing in the sand: HAPPY!! Hugs, Darnell
This is so adorable! Love the image, love the sentiment, love the sand! Love it! And in 10 minutes? Wow! Cx
This really made me smile Anita… what a happy card!
Thanks so much

I so loved this card when I saw it in the line up. When I clicked on the link and saw “anita from france” I said to myself-of course that’s why I liked it, it’s another fab anita card!
nicely done!
This marvelous card is why you were asked to be on the design team. CAS, no QACAS. Genius and creative. Job well done.
What a delightful card, Anita. I love how you did the sand and the sentiment is perfect. I struggle with sentiments for my cards, too. Sometimes I have to start with the sentiment so I know where I’m going.
I’m back. I was just over at Winnie and Walter and see you won a prize. Check it out before it’s too late. 🙂
This card makes me HAPPY Anita! It is so cute and even though I’m not a huge sand lover, I do love that cute boy with his sandcastle! The sentiment is perfect and I tell you Anita, I don’t think I could have made a card that fast. I’m so, so slow at making anything! lol You did great! Hugs, Brenda
So so so cute! I love your adorable beach scene and all that sand, the one thing I don’t like about the beach. LOL
Tee-hee-hee! What a cutie!
Oh, this is soooo super cute, Anita!!! Love that sweet little character and you’ve done a great job with the colouring and the sand!!! Great choice of sentiment and yeah for doing it in less than 10 minutes!!!!
So impressed with your very quick card Anita – it’s perfect for the challenge at LIM. I was hoping to join in this week but things have been mad here.
Hugs.

Super quick card Anita and super cute, I love the way you created the subtle sand and his hair is so adorable. Have a fun weekend x
Such a happy card Anita, great job in getting finished in under 10 minutes 🙂

Good grief, this would have taken me 90 mins to do!! It has so much detail, I love it so much. The effect of the sand is amazing, what a fabulous stamp that is. And the stamp of the child makes me smile so much, I’m going to say its a ‘he’ because he reminds me of my son Max so much. Fabulously brilliant!!!
Every grain of sand on this card is perfect. On the beaches along the Lake Michigan shoreline there are Sand Sculpture contests each summer… this little guy would win, hands down!!
Awwww this is so adorable 🙂 love the sand u created and that stamp is sooo cute !! Winner winner 🙂
This is darling! Great idea to use the sticker, and the sand looks totally real. How fun that you created it so quickly, too.
This is adorable!!!
Well done, my friend, well done. See…you CAN do quick and sweet cards!!! This image is adorable. Sue & I took my great nephews to the beach last month and they had such a fun time…this reminds me of them! Love this card. It’s a perfect summer memory. : )
what a cute card, anita!! clever use of the sticker!
Such a cute card! I love the adorable image and beautiful sentiment. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. 🙂
Your card puts a huge smile on my face – just too darn cute! Pretty good for a “slow” card maker, I must say! I love to make quick cards – they are usually my best. Once I start putting too much time into them I am usually not so happy with the result…although there are exceptions, of course.
Sorry to be so late commenting Anita, what a super seaside creation!
Thanks so much for joining us at Less is More

Your sweet sandcastle scene totally made me smile! And in less than 10 minutes….definitely a fist pumping moment! Your ‘sand’ is incredible and the melding of the sentiment is beyond perfect! Right off the hop, I’m calling winner, winner with this sweet card!
So happy to be back visiting my pals 🙂
Such a great card – I love the CAS design and the images are really cute!
Thanks for joining us at the Simon Says tamp Monday Challenge.

Adorable!! What a sweet image Anita … and perfect with the happy sentiment. Loll xx
Fantastic card. That sand you created is brilliant, and the image is adorable.
Honestly this card made me smile BIG, it’s wonderful Anita!
Hola, Anita! I just love this card. So cute. It looks like real sand. Great job!
Cute, fabulous and so fast! xxx
*Waving wildly from the Land of Late Commenting*! Your card is sheer adorable; love that beachy scene and the little guy with the wild red hair is adorable (I may be biased as my husband is a redhead!). Super duper cute!!
