Goodness, that came round quickly … it’s time for another challenge at Time Out! Our theme this fortnight is … stamping with the optional twist of apple … here’s my card, complete with apple twist …
I stamped the Waltzlingmouse apple, coloured and shaded it with alcohol markers, trimmed it out and added copious quantities of Glossy Accents. The Clearly Besotted gingham
table cloth block was stamped onto the card base, I added the Stampendous sentiment and popped the shiny (and by now, dry and really rather round!) apple up on foam tape. Voilà … très QACAS (Quick and CAS in Darnellese)!
So, will you add the optional apple twist or go your own stamping way? As usual, our overall winner will be invited to be a Guest Designer for a future challenge and in addition, if you use the twist, you’ll be in with a random chance of winning a stamp set from our sponsor, Avocado Arts! I do hope you’ll be able to find time to have some fun and play along … all the details, together with a ton of inspiration from our awesome Guest Designer Loll and the Design Team, are over at Time Out. See you in the gallery!
Oh, and a reminder also that we have a special extra challenge running alongside our usual ones … Double The Joy … use two of something on your card … it’s to celebrate the birth of sweet twin boys, Josh and Ben, to our teamie Bev and DH Karl. Mr Linky is open until 5.00pm BST on Monday 29 September, so there’s still plenty of time to play along!
I’m also linking up with …

Part from all that yummy gloss, my fav thing about this card is the subtle tablecloth, it draws the eye immediately and the contrast between this and the apple is striking…and thanks for joining ATCAS
CAS perfection Anita! Just lovely!
So good can it be; an idea and a little time make simple-looking card that is super CAS and beautiful! Hugs, Gerrina
Oh this is so clean, crisp and perfect. Love the soft background stamping.
This is CAS perfection, Anita! So beautiful. The “tablecloth” stamp makes the perfect background, great design! xxx
Beautiful CAS card, the apple is amazing 🙂
Looks good enough to eat. Again, a great combo of stamp and sentiment (I read “teacher”). Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations this month, Anita.
What a great idea to use the gingham for a table cloth! Your bright red and glossed apple really pops on there! A stunning CAS card! Oh, have you checked out the Moxie Fab World????
This is as clean and crisp as that apple might be if real! Quick, though? How long did it take for all that fab glossiness to dry? So pretty, Anita… and congrats on the win from Moxie Fab World!!! You will rock that class!
clean, crisp (like that yummy apple) and oh so perfect!! fabulous card, anita!
Very cool challenge topic, and I love your apple. Perfectly colored–love the bit of shine you achieved.

Adorable! I love apples and this is so cute. Next week in my classroom is apple week, might have to make a few of these as thank yous for my parents. I love it.
The apple is amazing…but the wee bit of tablecloth ROCKS!!! Subtle, but so effective in grounding that yummy, perfectly trimmed, apple! Great shading with the markers, creating a nice bit of highlight!
Fabulous CAS design!!
This card is just perfect! Brilliant idea to use the gingham behind the apple. It is the perfect pairing and immediately reminded me of a pleasant picnic.
Gingham always reminds me of picnics and we always have red, crunchy apples at picnic time in Summer. This is the perfect CAS card and love the soft, subtle gingham stamping. It really makes the apple pop! Awesomeness!
WOW, another CAS beauty, Anita!!!! Love the soft gingham and the sweet little apple!!! So cute!!!
Yummy and delicious – I guess I missed the last time out challenge – perhaps I’ll play in this one…..just totally swamped with work right now….
