Stamplorations #20 (Sketch), Addicted To Stamps And More #114 (CAS), AAA Cards #21 (Fussy Cuts), SSS Monday 22/9 (Stencils and/or Stamps), SSS Wednsday 24/9 (Anything Goes)

Remember the marginal moments card that was going on?  Well, after only (!) four days, it’s finished, it’s photographed, it’s being posted (quickly before various doors clang shut!) …

Stamplorations 20, ATSM 114, AAA 21, SSSM 22-9, SSSW 24-9The Papertrey Ink Merry & Bright Additions tree was stamped in various shades of green, the resulting little copse was trimmed out and a lick of Wink of Stella went over the lot.  I placed the trimmed out trees onto a white panel so I could draw in the trunks and add the sentiment (also Papertrey), then I took them away, embossed the panel with the SSS Falling Snow stencil, and added more Wink of Stella … this time to the snowflakes.   The copse was popped up with foam tape on the panel, a little gem was added to the top of each tree, and the panel was popped up on the card base.  I know you can’t see the shimmer too well, so I took a closer picture …

Stamplorations – first time playing with their Sketch Challenge.  As soon as I saw the sketch, I saw this card in my mind’s eye (even though it’s far too early for me to start making Christmas cards) … and as the delightful and amazingly talented Darnell is GD, how could I not join in!

Addicted To Stamps And More – CAS … yummy, how could I not play along here also (again).

AAA Cards – Fussy Cutting … OK, not sure that all those straight cuts could be called fussy but they were trimmed by hand!

SSS Monday – Stencils and/or Stamps … yep, both this time.

SSS Wednesday – Anything Goes

Off for a gentle meander around blogland to see what everyone’s been up to!  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Doesn’t matter if you made this card in little bits and pieces, the result is terrific! The embossed background, the beautiful colors of the trees, the shimmer, the sparkle – just gorgeous!

I’m in love!!! This is stunning and you know I love those blue/green colours. This is such a pretty card and love the sparkling snow. Its perfect for the Stamplorations sketch (I was going to enter too but ran out of time….). I think this card would look lovely in many different colour combo’s. What did we do before Wink of Stella came along??!! I need it in a bucket where I can syringe in out into my brush pen….

Very clever how you stamped the trees overlapping, by stamping first in the lighter tones, then later in the darker colours! Sorry, but I just have to understand the process lol! Gorgeous card, lovely colours and perfect CAS details. Ann

What a great X-mas card, Anita!!!! The trees are beautifully stamped and so neatly cut!! Love the sweet little trunks you’ve given them!!! Lovely EF and the added shimmer looks so nice (can imagine how lovely it must be IRL!!!) The bling on the X-mas trees is so cute and your small sentiment is perfect – just the right size and perfectly placed!!! Another CAS beauty!!

    Have a super weekend!!!
