CAS(E) This Sketch #104, Colour Q #273, Virginia’s View #11, SSS Wednesday 24/12

Happy New Year everyone … friends, followers, commenters and silent readers … I hope 2015 will be a blessed and wonderful year for you all!  Thanks so very much for your friendship, inspiration and encouragement over the past twelve months … it’s been an honour and a delight to have spent it with you!

I’ve not been around very much over the Christmas and the New Year holidays, so it’s nice to be back with a card to share tonight.  One of my teamies at Time Out, my friend Gerrina, is celebrating her birthday today, and this is the card I made for her …

CTS 104, CQ 273, VV 11, SSSW 24-12Happy Birthday, my friend, hope you’ve had a fabulous day doing exactly what you like most (and hope your card has already arrived with you)!

I stamped the stems, leaves and stylised tulips from Avery Elle along the bottom edge of the card, added a touch of Wink of Stella to the flower heads, and stamped the WPlus9 sentiment in Versamark.  A scattering of dewy bling and a strip of black along the bottom finished it off.

I was inspired by, and am joining in with …

CAS(E) This Sketch – the first time in forever I’ve played along, see the fab sketch below

Colour Q – Poppy, Coral, Olive, Honey, White (or rather my equivalent colours)

Virginia’s View – Clean Slate (the lots of white space category)

SSS Wednesday – Anything Goes (Second Entry)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend … thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Sketch challenges I can handle but not so much colors ones. And you did both in one delightful card. Love those colorful little tulips, Anita.

Love this wonderful card. Everything is perfectly lined up and stamped just right. That little strip of black does something fabulous–but I don’t know how to describe it. And, those flowers are so pretty–I’ve not seen those stamps in action.

I love this, it has a real ‘retro’ feel with the tulips in those colours. We had a similar pattern on our bread bin when I was MUCH, much younger… And its amazing how much a strip of black can finish off a card, its perfect!

Gahhh…20 days behind in commenting (but not in gazing and admiring!). Time to match words to the dazzle! Your stacked tulips are smile-making..and it won’t be ‘too’ long before real ones will make their appearance! I know Gerrina loves her card, as do I!
