There’s not been a lot of crafting time over the past week … so I needed to get a wriggle on to make a card before Hammy pushes the Playhouse door shut on Darnell’s latest NBUS challenge (celebrating 800+ followers!!!). Here’s a QACAS card that practically made itself …
… with a little help from my lovely friend, Michele (I Card Everyone), who sent me this rather splendid (NBUS to me) SSS Fresh Daisies paint chip die cut (among a host of other gorgeous goodies) … thanks again, my friend! I cut the SSS grid border into a white card panel, mounted the daisies onto it and stamped the Papertrey sentiment in grey. A piece of grey striped DP was adhered onto the card base under the grid and I popped the panel up over it on foam tape. A scattering of blingy dew was the finishing touch.
I’m playing along with …
Darnell’s NBUS – Anything Goes … félicitations, mon amie … what a difference you make in blogland … so many people delighting in sharing the joys of life in and around the Playhouse!
Less Is More – Combine Any Three Previous LIM Challenges … mine are #2 (Flower or Tree), #146 (Use DP in a CAS way) and #213 (This Makes Me Happy) … CAS is my happy!
Uniko – Anything Goes
SSS Wednesday – Anything Goes
SSS Monday – Pastels (those yummy ombré yellows)
Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy! Anita 🙂

Perfect for Springtime. You soooo rock. Wishing you all the blessings and promises of this Easter season. You’re invited to Easter dinner, btw. “Less is More”
Very nice design!!
Oh, this is so gorgeous, and I had no idea it was a paint chip. I’ve got oodles of them. Brilliant. Love how it is offset over your die cut grid.
CAS-alicious!! Not sure if this is a word or not but it should be for this card!!!!
I thought has already commented on your card…but I don’t see a comment, so I will try again,
This card is really stunning! It popped out at me, because I have that die and have never used it…(another NBUS item in my craft room) you sure have inspired me to get it out and use it.
Beautiful card, great way to use the die as a backdrop and thanks for reminding me I have that same die languishing somewhere 🙂

Less is More
This is fabulous in every way, Anita. Design, dimension, color (I didn’t know paint chips came that large) I love the stripe behind the die cut.
Awesome card! Such a cool idea to add the grid paper behind the die cut squares! Wasn’t sure I was at the right blog when I read “Designer Paper”! Nice subtle pop of yellow from the paint chip flower! I really have to remember to ‘borrow’ a stack or ten of these paint cards next time I visit the hardware store!
What a fetching treatment of your awesome paint-chip flower, Anita! How sweet of Michele to send this gem your way, and wow…you’ve modeled it with your signature style and flair! Another card of yours to love!
