Time Out DT #29, Runway Inspired Challenge #81, Make The Day Special – April, SSS Work It Wednesday – March, SSS Monday 13/4

Our bright and colourful new challenge starts today at Time Out … this fortnight we’re ‘Inspired By Words’ … and our words are ‘You Can’t Make A Rainbow Without a Little Rain’ … sigh … how blissful!  You wouldn’t have thought I’d focus on the ‘rainbow’ now would you (tee hee) …

Time Out DT 29, RIC 81, MTDS April, SSSWIW March, SSSM 13-4Time OutA white card panel, stamped with a little WPlus9 diamond (from Quilt Prints) in rainbow colours, each overlapping the previous one and each topped with a few coats of Wink of Stella for some shimmer (of course!).    I split the panel down the middle of the diamonds, added a strip of glittery silver washi top and bottom, stamped the WPlus9 sentiment in the gap on the base card and popped the panels up on foam tape over it.  Would you like to see what’s inside …

Time Out DT 29, RIC 81, MTDS April, SSSWIW March, SSSM 13-4 Inside… a WPlus9 hello, stamped in most of the rainbow colours used on the front … and yes, coated in Wink of Stella!

What do you think of when you hear the words ‘You Can’t Make a Rainbow Without a Little Rain’?  Let your imagination wander … and when you’ve settled on an idea (or two!), why not get creative and play along with us at Time Out … we’d love to have you!   All the details are over on the Time Out blog, along with a ton of inspiration from our talented Guest Designer, Michele H from Crimson Owl Creations and our amazing DT!  Look forward to seeing you in the gallery!

I’m joining in with these four challenges …

Runway Inspired – check out the inspiration photo below … I focussed on the rainbow diamonds, white walls in the background and those shiny shoes … a CAS and graphic version!

Make The Day Special – Tic Tac Toe (I chose Metallics, Bling and Feminine)

SSS Work It Wednesday – Stamp

SSS Monday – In The Middle (the diamond stamp is meant for the middle of the ‘quilts’ stamped with Quilt Prints!)

Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Nobody does a rainbow like you, Anita – even the lovely inside sentiment! Adore the split panel and you’ve stamped these diamonds so perfectly – how did you ever? You’ve adjusted my attitude on this rainy day, for sure…

What a stunning and beautiful CAS card Anita! I love your “rainbow” and I love how you cut your panel in half and placed the sentiment in the center of it. The shimmer is awesome and I love the glittery sliver at the top and bottom. Just beautiful! Hugs, Brenda

Delightful! Love the split panel and the sweet, wee sentiment tucked between your perfectly stamped ‘rainbow’ border! Thanks for sharing the inside sentiment cuz it would have driven me ca-razy not knowing what you stamped inside!

Brilliant and oh-so cheery CAS with these beautiful diamond & fab bright colors against that textured crisp white. Really like the way you split the motif and have the main layer elevated. Very classy & beautiful too. TFS

Luscious and delicious. Your design is perfect, and your stamping—I don’t even know where to start. Lined up perfectly, and every color just shines. Love the bit of silver at the top and bottom, and even more color in your multi inked sentiment inside.

    Hi, Anita!!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve been around, but you’ve guessed it – I’ve been busy sewing, knitting, crocheting and crafting other things than cards!!! And I just couldn’t find the mojo to do cards!!!! But as I go through all the lovely cards everybody has been posting since I last visited Blogland, I think I will be making cards again in a day of two’s time!!!
I just love this rainbow card of yours, Anita!!!! Such a clever way to use all the beautiful colours of the rainbow and so perfectly stamped!!!!! I love the silver strips at the top and bottom and how you have split your diamonds to put the sentiment in the middle!!!!! You have really made a very striking card, Anita!!!!! Lovely!!!!
