Our bright and colourful new challenge starts today at Time Out … this fortnight we’re ‘Inspired By Words’ … and our words are ‘You Can’t Make A Rainbow Without a Little Rain’ … sigh … how blissful! You wouldn’t have thought I’d focus on the ‘rainbow’ now would you (tee hee) …
A white card panel, stamped with a little WPlus9 diamond (from Quilt Prints) in rainbow colours, each overlapping the previous one and each topped with a few coats of Wink of Stella for some shimmer (of course!). I split the panel down the middle of the diamonds, added a strip of glittery silver washi top and bottom, stamped the WPlus9 sentiment in the gap on the base card and popped the panels up on foam tape over it. Would you like to see what’s inside …
… a WPlus9 hello, stamped in most of the rainbow colours used on the front … and yes, coated in Wink of Stella!
What do you think of when you hear the words ‘You Can’t Make a Rainbow Without a Little Rain’? Let your imagination wander … and when you’ve settled on an idea (or two!), why not get creative and play along with us at Time Out … we’d love to have you! All the details are over on the Time Out blog, along with a ton of inspiration from our talented Guest Designer, Michele H from Crimson Owl Creations and our amazing DT! Look forward to seeing you in the gallery!
I’m joining in with these four challenges …
Runway Inspired – check out the inspiration photo below … I focussed on the rainbow diamonds, white walls in the background and those shiny shoes … a CAS and graphic version!
Make The Day Special – Tic Tac Toe (I chose Metallics, Bling and Feminine)
SSS Work It Wednesday – Stamp
SSS Monday – In The Middle (the diamond stamp is meant for the middle of the ‘quilts’ stamped with Quilt Prints!)

Brilliant and oh-so cheery CAS with these beautiful diamond & fab bright colors against that textured crisp white. Really like the way you split the motif and have the main layer elevated. Very classy & beautiful too. TFS
