Bonjour … and a Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends … wishing you all a wonderful day, blessed with the joy of family and friends! Our fabulous new challenge over at Time Out starts today … we’re inspired by these words … ‘Snowflakes are winter’s butterflies’. Here’s where I went …
The background stripes are sliced up washi tape and the snowflake is double layered … the watercolour smooshed one is the positive from this card I made a little while ago … it’s topped with one cut from gold card. I did a little surgery on the Uniko snowflakes, trimming the outer edges into points to get a frosty look to the shapes, before popping them up on foam tape over the stripes. The Hero Arts sentiment was stamped in Delicata Gold and I scattered some tiny gold stars around it.

Slicing and dicing Washi Tape….what a brilliant idea (literally in this case). I never would have thought to do that! You are so clever, my dear friend! My favorite part of this stunning card is the gentle sprinkling of stars in the bottom corner! So darn pretty!
