My Favorite Things Sketch #261, Colour Q #322, TE Share Joy Challenge #16, SSS Wednesday – 30 December

Hello … bonjour!  Have you had a little space for some card making?  I have … it’s been soooo nice just playing … especially with a new goodie or two!  Here’s a card that was made on Friday, which has been waiting patiently to get into the limelight …

MFT Sketch 261, CQ 322, TE Share Joy 16, SSSW 30-12I die cut the MFT leaves from gold foil, card and vellum and fixed them onto a MFT pierced rectangle (from the Lake House stash … thanks Bev, I think!), leaving the card and vellum ones a little free towards the top.   The PTI sentiment was white embossed on black and was adhered over a slip of polka dot vellum (don’t you just love when the polka dots hide the glue?).  I lightly sponged the card base with a halo of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, mounted the finished leaf panel on foam tape over the top and scattered on a sequin or five.

My card was inspired by …

My Favorite Things Sketch – see below

Colour Q – Basic Black, Coastal Cabana (my closest colour … it’s closer IRL!), Gold, White

TE Share Joy Challenge – Keep It Clean and Simple (still no none Christmassy TD goodies!)

SSS Wednesday – Party (well, it is the big day!)

Hope your weekend has been wonderful!  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Very clean and elegant Anita! Tell me, where do you find polka dot vellum? I always have problems with glueing vellum, and as you say, the polka dots would do the trick. Wishing you a wonderfully crafty 2016!
