CASology #179, SSS Monday – 4 January, SSS Wednesday – 6 January

Hello … bonjour … or rather ‘Hello Sunshine’ …

CASology 179, SSSM 4-1, SSSW 6-1It’s at least a century since I played along with CASology … always want to … the code word always goes on my card list … and then the time gobbling monster comes along and just munches it’s way through my well laid plans.  Not so this week … I’ve sent him off on a wild goose chase … geese apparently don’t mind if their plans are left in disarray … must be water off a duck’s goose’s back for them.    So, my card … one SSS stamped and Wink of Stella’d sun, complete with heat embossed shades … an adhered SSS die cut, also clear heat embossed for dimension and shine … and a Papertrey dotted line … simple!  Detail shot?

CASology 179, SSSM 4-1, SSSW 6-1 DetailThe sun is going to be shining over at …

CASology – Simple

SSS Monday – Something New … the hello die

SSS Wednesday – Something New … ditto!

Been enjoying some meandering around blogland … lots still to see … and there’s another card or two in the pipeline, so I hope to be back tomorrow with those!  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

    Hi Anita,

Love your card – I am wondering what type of white cardstock was used, or did you use an embossing folder for the card base. I really love the look of it .

    Best wishes,

    Sylvia

Well…I didn’t win the big lottery, so I won’t be there this week. BUT!….No one else won it either, so there’s a chance I’ll get to come and make sunny cards with you next week. Hahahahahaha! Love this sweet CAS card. Perfect for CASology, and for those of us wishing for warm, sunny days. Pretty sure this one’s a winner. Missing you. See you next week, hahahahahaha!!!

I, too, am banking on that power ball win, Anita … with that win, the future will be bright enough for many, many people to wear shades … just like your adorable Mr. Sun! Gosh this is SIMPLY brilliant!

Alrighty then…geese are gone and you apply yourself to the card and come out with a winner. Amazing to me that tiny dots and patent leather shine does so much for a card. This is fun, cheery and perfect.

This clean & simple cutie is definitely headed for the Winner’s Circle! Great photo that captures the divine texture of the paper and Stella’s sparkle! The PTI dotted line rocks,,,or should I say ‘grounds’ cuz it really anchors the sentiment beautifully!

So lovely to have you join us this week at CASology, Anita, and this card is such a CAS-alicious treat! The sun certainly needs shades in our neck of the woods, let alone the rest of us, and that glossy hello is the perfect touch!

I’m hoping that in this new year the time gobbling monster will take a long vacation and leave me alone!!! He really is a pest… I adore your card, Anita. That happy little sun with his cool shades just makes me smile. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week and happy New Year to you!

For not having played ‘in a century’, you’ve sure come back with a winner! Love your happy little, shade-sporting sun! Hope the time monster loses his appetite, giving you plenty of opportunity to craft, craft and craft!
    Hugs~c
