Hello … bonjour! Happy Thursday! It’s time for a fresh new challenge at Time Out … this fortnight we have an ‘Inspired By Words’ theme … ‘Love Is The Flower You’ve Got To Let Grow’. Here’s my take …
My flower took the leading role on stage while those tiny love hearts are there in support! This is almost one layer … a masked, Distress Ink sponged panel, splattered with shimmery white, with a die cut paint chip bloom adhered over it (SSS maybe … thanks to my lovely friend, Michele). I used Promarkers to add some more colour to the die cut so that the ombré red had a more blended look … and so that the white gaps between the colours were less obvious. I stamped the NBUS SSS sentiment and added a trio of Wink of Stella’d and Glossy Accented hearts … and I was done!
How might our words inspire you … you can use all or any of them to spark your ideas … and then play along! There’s a prize this time round as we’re sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps (who just happen to be sneak peeking their new release right now!) … the overall winner, as voted for by the DT will win a £15 gift card! All the details are over at the Time Out blog, along with creative cards galore from our fabulous DT and our amazingly talented Guest Designer, Valentyna from Flourishtina … hope to see you in the gallery!

Lovely! The dark mysterious background with the “starry” reflections are wonderful underneath your awesome flower!
beautiful
So elegant, love it!
The hot pink flower shape looks stunning against the gleam of the DI panel. It glimmers beautifully – like the way the ombre shaded down the panel, with the delicious spatters. Tucking on the tiny hearts was a great way of drawing the eyes over to the sentiment. TFS & Hugs
