Time Out DT #49 Mid Challenge Reminder, Little Tangles #65, AAA Cards #57, Tic-Tac-Toe #3, Addicted to CAS #81

Hello … bonjour!  We’re just about half way through our lovely ‘Inspired By Words’ challenge at Time Out … this fortnight we’re using this song line … ‘Love Is The Flower You’ve Got To Let Grow’.  I went whimsical …

Time Out DT 49RTime Out… and almost one layer.  The stems and leaves are from Neat & Tangled‘s Scandinavian Flowers and were stamped randomly over the card base.  I stamped two sizes of Winnie & Walter outline hearts in place of the flower heads and scattered a third tiny size (also W&W) around them.  The hearts and little leaves were watercoloured and I added a couple of coats of Wink of Stella over the top.  The sentiment’s from SSS … a die cut ‘hello’ over the top of a white embossed slender strip of black … both adhered flat to the card.    How about a close up of all that shimmer …

Time Out DT 49R DetailWe’d love it if you played along … you can use all or any of the words them to spark your ideas.  You’d be in with a chance to be a Guest Designer with us for a future challenge … and there’s a £15 prize up for grabs for the winner, thanks to Stephanie at Clearly Besotted  Stamps.  All the details are over at the Time Out blog, along with lots of inspiration from our fabulous DT and our wonderfully talented Guest Designer, Valentyna from Flourishtina … hope to see you in the gallery!

I’m joining in with …

Little Tangles – Watercolour

AAA Cards – Love Me Like You Do

Tic -Tac-Toe – Top Row … Love, Shimmer, Hearts

Addicted to CAS – Bloom … flowers and love here!

Wishing you a fabulous weekend when it arrives!  Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

WOW! Way to fulfill a bunch of challenges in one pass. And what a pass it is…that is such a sweet, lovely background. Using the N&T foliage and adding those W&W hearts is nothing short of GENIUS! Then to color them in…it’s so pretty it makes my heart ache. Wonder if someone makes wallpaper like that. If not, there is a second career for you. The bold sentiment sets it off to a tee. Just brilliant.

Anita, this is so wonderful! I adore your decision to replace the flowers with the various sizes of hearts. So cute! Your watercolring looks great, too, and I love love all that shimmer. Such a perfect card for each challenge, but thanks especially for joining the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! I smiled with delight when I saw your name amongst the entries. 🙂
