CASEplorations With The STAMPlorations Girls – February Guest Designer – Mid Challenge Reminder, CASology #184, Tic-Tac-Toe #3, Simply Create Too #102

Hello … bonjour!   There’s still plenty of time left to play along with CASEplorations with the STAMPlorations Girls, where I’m still excited and honoured to be the CASE-ee this month … with this card from January 2015 …

CASEplorationsFebruary2016and this is my second CASE, born from the first (here) …

CASEplorations GD2 - February 16Guess where all those luscious shimmery hearts came from … yep, they were the positives from the die cut space … and they were just too sweet not to use up.  So I die cut the SSS grid (ETA now discontinued) into a white card panel and allowed the little hearts to arrange themselves on it, adhered them and covered them in copious quantities of Wink of Stella and some Glossy Accents.  Some Distress Inks were blended onto another piece of card (same colour combo as the hearts), and the piece was trimmed and adhered to the base so that the colours would show through the grid and down the edge.  The grid/heart panel was stamped with a STAMPlorations sentiment, I added a little bling, popped the panel up over the card base … and I was done.

So … if you haven’t already, how d’you feel about doing a little CASE-ing?  I’d love to see your take on my card!  All the details (including prizes!) are over on the STAMPlorations blog, along with loads of inspiration from the Design Team’s CASEs … that you really don’t want to miss!  Look forward to seeing you in the gallery!

I’m playing along with …

So cool to get a chance to CASE one of your beautiful creations. I’m definitely going to join in, just seem to be running out of time to get anything finished at the moment. But looks like I will be home with Max tomorrow now (was home with Phoebe on Monday) as he now has her head cold. Not good for my gardening work but gives me a chance to catch up on my card making……
