Winnie & Walter 3rd Birthday Bash … Take 2

Hello … bonsoir encore!  I’m back with the second instalment of my Winnie & Walter 3rd Birthday Bash cards.  First in the spotlight …

A white card panel, smooshed with three Distress Inks, masked/stamped off the page with three daisies from In Bloom: Addie’s Garden … and a sentiment from Wishing You with Evelyn T Designs … the supplementary sentiment is stamped inside.  I’m playing along with …

Shay’s Three Challenge … three colours, three daisies!

Heather H’s Ink Smooshing Challenge

Heather P’s Mood Board Challenge

Last and by no means least …

Here’s a Distress Ink blended background, splattered and spritzed with Shimmer Spray … and white heat embossed with the little snail from You’ve Got Love Mail  I die cut the In A Word: Hugs four times in white, stacked them together and adhered the word under the snail.  As you know, snails leave a trail when they wander … and this one is wandering over the hugs.  You’ll notice that he has a heart in his shell … so his trail is (of course!) made up of tiny hearts cut from Essentials: Audrey Cutaways, shimmered up with Spectrum Noir.  My little snail is going to …

    Hello sweet friend!
This duo of cards makes me smile big! Your smooshed background has such an organic look for the striking daisies and your snail 🐌 is absolutely the most charming chap with his heart accent and Trail of 💕 . Such a delightful post. Just love these so, so much!
    Big hugs 😘

There you go gluing on tiny (really tiny) hearts again, Anita. That snail is darling though leave the trail behind. I love the daisies on the smooshed background too,.

Anita, both of these cards are wonderful! I love the pastel watercolours behind your bouquet of daisies, and the little snail leaving a trail of hearts along his path stole my heart! 🙂

Anita, your first card with the lovely daisies and the smooshing is really beautiful!!!! Your daisies look so crisp and fresh in the intense and bright black!!!! (couldn’t think of better words to describe the black!!! – looks as if you have stamped it more than once with the MISTI to get it so bright!!!!) A very beautiful card, my friend!!!! Way to win a challenge or 4. How you manage to produce these incredible cards all the time is beyond me. The spatters on your first card honestly look like your mapped them out, they’re placed so splendidly. And then there is the 2d card. Never mind the spectacular background, which is indeed, spectacular…that big sentiment with the snail trail above steals the show. Whatever made you think of that little miracle was…well…a miracle of genius.

Two beauties! The soft colors on the background gorgeous and create the perfect backdrop for the flowers! Love the ‘concentration of “yellow” surrounding the ‘Wishing You’ as it totally draws the eye down to the sentiment.

Second card – GORGEOUS! The colors in the water splashed background are gorgeous! ADORE the ‘heart trail’ that leading to the sweet wee snail!

We are in the midst of a HUGE snowstorm. Snow, wind and COLD temps. All the highways are closed, cancellations galore and a snow day for the schools! Lucky kids!

Incroyable ! Quelle inspiration ! J’adore ! Bonne fin de semaine !

I’m having a wrestling match with smooshing (DT card in the works…well, in the trash is more like it!), so seeing your lovely smooshed background and daisies card right this moment has been wonderfully serendipitous! Wonderful smoosh placement and oh, those colours are daisy delicious! You’ve inspired me to go back to the drawing board! As for your second card: simply fabulous! The blended shimmery, glimmry background is marvelous but the star of the show is your little snail, with his trail of hearts, scaling the hugs die cut! Yes, we call you ‘genius’ often but…you are! Hope you never tire of being told so!

OMGosh, these are both amazing and so pretty Anita!!! The daisy card is simply stunning! I have some daisy’s and was thinking about doing some smooshing with them, how exciting to see that you did just that and that my mind when where your did. Maybe I am finally learning something here!!! lol I always love your ink blending as you do it so well, so your second card is fabulous but it is that dang little snail that I am so loving!!! He is just the cutest! Maybe I will have a little play later today. Hugs, Brenda

Awesome smooshing! Those black daisies provide a fantastic contrast! They have quite an impact! Nice masking, too! And the second card – flawless ink blending and that snail – gotta love it!

This is such a totally delightful card! I thought it was so clever of you to pair the snail image with the Hugs die-cut! They fit together so perfectly! And that is some expertly-done color-blending in the background. This is so pretty and creative and I’m grateful that you shared your talents with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

I love the contrast between the white space on the first card and the richness of colour on the second card – it showcases the range of your talent so beautifully! That little snail and his heart shaped trail are the cutest thing I’ve see all day. 🙂

Your smooshing is so much better than mine! I reckon out of an entire pack of Tim Holtz watercolour paper I’ve thrown out 90% of it! Always looks like a muddy mess lol. This is perfect, especially for the bold, black blooms!
