Hello … bonjour! It’s been a weekend of I’ve-not-played-there-for-a-while … yesterday was the Papertrey Blog Hop, today it’s Papertrey’s Make It Monday (among others). Stephanie’s first MIM video showed a great technique for making window chipboard sentiments … don’t remember seeing that done before, so thought I’d give it a try …
I used the stamp set One Big Happy for all the flowers, leaves and supplementary sentiment … and the accompanying die, stacked up, for the window sentiment. The images didn’t pop enough when stamped to make the white die cut stand out, so I added some highlights with coloured crayons and a white gel pen … and Wink of Stella’d the happy … much better! This is what it looks like inside …
… plenty of space to write a message and finish off with ‘happy birthday’! Thanks for a fun technique, Stephanie … and a great video!
I’m playing along with

You really captured this technique beautifully, Anita! It’s a bit like that recessed flower card of yours that I loved so much I CASEd it. I can’t wait to try this one, too! Pinning and thank you for the ongoing inspiration!! Mwah!! LYAMYAHYHAGD!! Hugs, Darnell
Such a delightful card, Anita! I had intended to play along at PTI, but work got in the way this past week (and this weekend).
Wonderfully stamping, Anita–great take on the challenge!
Oh I LOVE your take on this challenge!! The flowers are PERFECT and I adore your colors. This is one of my FAVORITE stamp sets from PTI. Pinning your card!!
Oh, you clever girl! I love your take on the window sentiment technique, Anita! The pop of color on the flowers peeking through the alphas on the inside of this card is so charming! Great choice of stamps and dies, too!
fabulous take on the MIM technique, anita!!
What a cool technique and I’ve never saw it done before!!! I love this card, it is fun and oh so pretty! Those flowers are amazing, but what I’m loving is the way the sentiment was done. I will have to give this a try!! You sure do make some of the prettiest cards I’ve ever seen Anita! Hugs, Brenda
As everyone is saying (and so true!) you really nailed this technique. I especially loved how you placed some of the cut out pieces inside the card. Love your take on the MIM video!
Your showcasing of this technique is lovely. I have seen a few and I am thinking about trying it.
uber fun die cutting technique and an uber fun card too!
Fresh…clean…and beautifully done!….bless you! ♥
Wow….this is just adorable Miss Anita! Love the sweet look you created with those pretty springtime colors.
What a splendid card! I love the technique and the fact that the sentiment is underneath as well as some of the coloring from the front flowers!
Thats such a great idea Anita and you did a beautiful card with it too. I have to try that soon too!

Ohhhhhh! This is beautiful, Anita. 🙂 Makes me want to hurry up and try this! (My Big Shot is going to be shipped soon.) Lovely and PERFECTLY CAS! Thanks for playing along at AAA Cards. It’s always a pleasure to see you around.
Such a cool technique and a beautiful card! Love those gorgeous flowers and the inside is divine too! xxx
Oh wow! This is fantastic, Anita! I haven’t watched the video, but now I want to! Your flowers are so bright and cheery. Love how they peek out when you open the card. Fabulous!
Love this technique, and you’ve really used it to perfection. All that white with those pretty pops of color makes this so pretty. Those flowers surrounding your ‘happy’ are wonderful, and the simple repeated sentiment is such a clever idea. Love this card!! But then, I do love your cards…every single one of them! : ) Missing you and sending you many hugs and smiles. xo
I saw that Make It Monday and wanted to try it but haven’t the time right now (or patience). Yours is so much better than Stepanie’s…I know I shouldn’t say that…I am a tad biased. But I love how you added the details to the flowers to make the sentiment pop out more and I simply adore the inside. Your genius is showing, my friend.
The bright card, the cool paper and a charming peek inside the card. Lovely, as usual.
Beautifully done Anita! I like the pops of color and pattern you added to the chipboard element. Marvelous card!
Hey Anita! I haven’t seen this technique yet, so thanks for sharing it! Love how the “middles” bring in more color to the inside of the card. Really great design, and just so pretty! Xo
What a beauty Anita!!!!! I love how you made this work for a few challenges! I almuseded that happy die too! Looks like it worked beautifully on your card so beautifully stamped!
It is a beautiful card! Love the colours and that littl piece with the flower in the sentiment is a great touch on the inside! Hugs, Gerrina
Very pretty take on the sketch!
What a clever way to do the sentiment! I love this! Looks so neat nestled within the colorful flowers on the outside, then you get the bold treatment of the dimension on the interior. Really like this one, Anita. TFS & Hugs

Wow! I saw this technique going around this week, but your card has to be the most inspiring! I LOVE this card, Anita!
This is a very cool technique that you used perfectly! I like how you “automatically” have the inside decorated as well! Adore the colorful flowers surrounded by all that white space!
Very, very cool, Anita! Your card is so pretty! I’m intrigued by this technique and I think I need to give it a try.
