An Autumn Bouquet

Hello … bonjour … hope your week is going along wonderfully!  I had plans to play in all the categories of the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest, though as the Time Eating Monster has been making his presence felt around here recently, I’ve not got there with the three of them.  Here though, is my Clean and Simple entry …

A white card panel, masked and sponged/faded out with Scattered Straw and Dried Marigold Distress Inks.  All the blossoms and foliage are from MFT (Beautiful Blooms) … the leafy sprigs were stamped onto the card panel, and the blooms were stamped, die cut and mounted on different levels of foam tape.  I finished off with an MFT sentiment, some enamel accents for the flower centres and a little doodling with a white gel pen, before adhering the panel onto craft foam on the card base.

I’m joining in at …

SSS Wednesday – Pop It Up

Short and sweet today … thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Don’t be too concerned about the time eating monster…when you can produce something as exquisite as this little masterpiece, you’re beating him back with your considerable talent. This floral arrangement is just perfect…the colors are, as usual, warm and inviting…kind of like you. And that beautifully blended swath of luscious color along the bottom is is exactly the right backdrop for your bouquet.

These blooms are quickly becoming my favorite, especially after seeing how you played with them! I love your color palette and how you sponged your inks on the bottom panel…so pretty, Anita!

The details are what makes this card special. Having the sprigs in different colors right on the card panel give such dimension, Anita, and the doodles do the same for the blossoms.

You are always a super star to me! This card proves it yet again! So pretty! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! I will be disappearing from blogland for the next two weeks or so – going on a hiking trip – I’ll visit again once I am back home…

Anita another soft and gentle looking card – your master it. I hope now that it is fall I will get more creative. Summer came and went and now time to think of the holidays. 😦

Absolument magnifique Anita ! Ton design est très joli. J’adore ces jolies petites fleurs avec ces tons chauds de l’automne. Elles ressortent tellement bien sur ce superbe fond et ces délicats feuillages verts ! J’adore ! CAS à souhait ! Bises xx

Your soft inking and arrangement of flowers look wonderful and what a great idea to stamp the greenery instead of using die cuts for those too, the stamping really ground the flowers beautifully.

Evidently ‘commenting late’ is becoming my ‘new normal’ these days (the time eating monster resides here, methinks!)…but I’m nestled on my couch, sipping coffee and taking a stroll through your gallery to let you know how much I love your creativity. Your autumn bouquet is gorgeous; warm, rich, inviting! A vase, filled with these blooms, would be perfect on my kitchen table…
