Hello … bonjour! To those who are celebrating today … Happy, Happy Thanksgiving … wishing you a day blessed with all good things! Appropriately enough, we have a lovely new challenge starting today at Time Out, where we’re Inspired By Words … live with gratitude and celebrate all that is good, today and every day … how wise. Here’s my take on it …
A gold heat embossed leaf (Concord & 9th Lacy Leaf), watercoloured with Zig Brush Markers and a water brush, die cut and popped up on craft foam on a Delicata gold ink splattered base. The sentiment (from the same set) was also gold heat embossed. How about a look at the shimmer and shine in a bit more detail …Where will our words take your creative imagination? You can use any or all of them to inspire your card … we’d love to see what you make! This time, we’re sponsored by STAMPlorations (thanks so much, Shery) … our overall winner (as voted for by the DT) will receive a $15 GC … and will also be invited to design with us in a future challenge. All the details are over at Time Out, along with a whole heap of delicious ideas from our fabulous DT … as well as from our Guest Designer, my delightful and wonderfully talented friend, Isabelle from Izzy Scrap. Given that Isabelle is on both the Less is More and Uniko Design Teams, it’s a pretty sure bet you’ll have seen her gorgeous work. If not (or even if you have), do go over and enjoy a gentle meander through all that inspiration … and drink in every last drop … you’ll love it!

Thanks so much for coming by, especially during this Thanksgiving season, your visits and comments truly are always a joy! Anita 🙂
That shimmer is gorgeous and wonderful watercolouring-when you say the background is delicata splattered-how did you do this?
What a super leaf you made! Such beautiful colours and so delicate jet modern looking; great card! Hugs, Gerrina
Bises & Hugs !

Thankful for your “friendship”, Anita. Ever bake a stuffed turkey in your neck of the woods? Our day was yesterday. It was lovely. But I’m glad it’s over 😉 Yay for leftovers! And speaking of lovely… your card (and especially that first photo where it looks like there is an intricate gold cut layer placed over a colored layer) is gorgeous. You work wonders with that cool stamp.
So gorgeous! I just love that golden shine paired with those rich Autumnal colours! I love the splatters as the backdrop too! Perfection!
beautiful card! I love the watercolouring on your golden leaf. Thank you for sharing your card at Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge.
Hi Anita, I am so late in commenting, but I did really enjoy my favorite holiday here is the US – Thanksgiving. Your card is so beautiful. The autumn colors and gold are just so perfect together… You did a beautiful job with that wonderful leaf, and all the golden accents. Thanks for the gorgeous inspiration!
Oh, Anita, I had just by playing with this set and made two leaves similar to yours, but I love that you added more green. Your card is gorgeous! Guess I need to make something with mine–just love this Concord & 9th set.
That is a gorgeous stamp and needs no accompaniment to shine.
Thanks for linking up at ATSM. 🙂
Awesome leaf, so beautiful! I entered a card into the challenge but didn’t read it properly and used my own words so have left a comment over there asking for my entry to be deleted. I feel really silly! xxx
This is a stunner, Anita! The leaf pattern is so pretty in gold especially with those warm colours. Love it! What kind of gold embossing powder do you use? Mine leaves a lot to be desired.
Anita, I just love this card! Love the gold leaf with those beautiful fall colors. Just gorgeous!!! Thanks for joining us at HLS Anything Goes with Dies!
So beautiful, you gold embossed leaf! Our leaves are all pretty much down, except for my enormous oak tree, which like to hold on to its brown leaves forever…
Everytime I see someone use this leaf stamp I think I have to get that!! And this is no exception. It looks so delicate heat embossed with gold against those autumnal colours. And I love the CAS feel. Jenny x
