Hello … bonjour! Our wonderful new challenge starts this morning at Time Out … this fortnight … We Challenge You To Be … Warm! Here’s where I went with the theme …
I went with warm colours on a mixed media card panel. My sentiment, from Simply Graphic (‘a friend gives life colour’), was done first … by stamping the main part in Versafine (masking off the one word), then multi stamping ‘couleur’ afterwards with my MISTI, to create an ombré effect. The CAS-ual Fridays blooms were also stamped in Versafine, Zig watercoloured to match the sentiment, and were coated with Wink of Stella for some shimmer. I finished with Nuvo Jewel Drops in co-ordinating colours … and popped the panel up on craft foam onto the base.
Where will our challenge take your creative imagination … to warm colours, as mine did … to a warm image … to a cosy scene … or somewhere else? Wherever it takes you, we’d love to see what you create! This time round, we’re sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays (thanks, Michele!) … our winner, as voted for by the DT will receive a $25 GC from the store … and as usual, will be invited to guest design with us in a future challenge. All the details are over at Time Out, along with plenty of fabulous inspiration from our wonderful DT … and from our talented Guest Designer, Marieke. You’ll find such delicious inspiration over at Marieke’s blog … why not pop over … enjoy … and say hello while you’re there!

Oh my fav set, and wish I could use it with such skill, the warmth just flows from this card, love the colouring and matching it with the sentiment….inspired. A CAS stunner x
Wow, Anita, this is so striking! I adore what you did with the ombre colors in the word coulour. It looks wonderful. And to take the same colors and put them on the flowers, beautiful. Fabulous card! 🙂 Hugs!
The colours are so beautiful and super for the warm-theme! A beautiful CAS card again; you’re so good in that style! Hugs, Gerrina
Anita, I never tire of seeing that darling CF stamp on your cards! It is so very precious – and your beautiful sentiment en Francais, c’est magnifique! [how’d I do? lol]
No worries – ALL my cards are warm this time of year! Our first day of Summer is crazy warm, and hazy, too! xx

Super make and such zingy colours too

Your card inspired by warm is fabulous! I really love how your mixed media cards are still true to your clean cardmaking style–lovely! xo
Gorgeous card, Anita! I love the ombre effect you created in the word colour and how you used your Zigs on the flowers to match…so clever and so, very beautiful, my friend! LOVE your take on the challenge theme!
The treatment of your sentiment is awesome. Not only the meaning itself but your masking and positioning of them and the fantastic ombre of “couleur”. Let’s just say the whole card makes me feel warm and cozy.
Hello Anita: I love your sweet and beautiful CAS card, the colors are truly warm and vibrant, a perfect example of the word.
I’m so happy you shared it with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, hope you will join us again next time.
Hugs.
gorgeous…as ever x
What a beautiful card Anita! I love those “hot” colors and I love how you did your sentiment. Those flowers are wonderful and of course I love the Nuvo drops! Hugs, Brenda
Love those warm colors Anita, and the sentiment in French- well that just adds to the natural elegance.
So very beautiful, love your gorgeous choice of colours!
Warm, sunny and perfect for our first day of summer!
I think it’s a bit of a stretch for the word warm, Anita, as I find your gorgeous card to be sizzling HOT! The way you did that ombre stamping with your Misti of just one word took a steady hand and a brilliant mind! I also love the random feel of your well-placed bling!! LYAMYMA! Happy to say I decoded your last one and felt very proud! I was tempted to type HTSIDYLOAFVP, but I didn’t want your pretty head to explode, lol!! Hugs, Darnell
Oops, missed you added this to Calling All Sistahs, so ditto to my comments above and fab to see you at Calling All Sistahs x

Hi Anita! Love this CAS design – it’s a great entry for our theme this week – thanks for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
Gorgeous flowers Anita. Love how you’ve interpreted the challenge to create these warm-coloured beauties! xx
This is so gorgeous, Anita. I love the way the word “coulour” is positioned in that masked piece of the stem. How cleverly you have created the ombre effect on that word as well. It makes it all the warmer to me that the sentiment is in French. Beautiful card, wonderful coloring. I am definitely feeling warm just looking at it. Hugs, Stephanie

Definitely hot colors! And to color part of the sentiment in the same colors is just showing your genius!
Nothing more striking than a smidgen of warm colors paired with lots of B/W. You nailed it, Anita! Great choice of an image too. Love the sentiment intertwined.
Congratulation, girl, on your Less Is More ShowCASe win. So well-deserved.
