Hello … bonjour! We’re starting a fresh new challenge at Time Out today … this fortnight we’re Inspired By Words … let us be grateful for what makes us happy. Here’s where my imagination took me …
I very recently discovered Pink Fresh Studio (such delicious, whimsical and delicate goodies!) … and used one of the stamps in a newly acquired set (Fleur 1) for my thanks card, picking out the let us be grateful part of our Inspired By Words phrase for my theme. I masked off a panel on a mixed media card base and stamped the floral cluster several times, changing direction and height to avoid an obvious repeat pattern. The stamped panel was loosely watercoloured (a new to me technique that has me just a smidge outside my oh so orderly comfort zone … eek) and I drew a fine black line along the top and bottom of it. The SSS thanks was cut out of the card front and out of black craft foam, I lined the inside of the card, and the die cut was set back into place, popped up on the foam. I added clear Stickles to the centres of a few of those sweet blooms … and Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle, topped with Glossy Accents, to the sentiment. As a finishing touch, some of the same colours in the flowers were splattered top and bottom of the floral panel. How about a look at the detail …
Where will our words take your creativity? You can use any or all of them to inspire your card … we’d love if it you joined us in the gallery. We’re sponsored by STAMPlorations (thanks, Shery!) … our overall winner (as voted for by the DT) will win a $15GC … and there’ll be a random draw from all the entries for a goodie bag of stamps or dies. As usual, our winner will also be invited to design with us in a future challenge. All the details are over at Time Out, along with heaps of lovely inspiration from our fabulous DT.

This is SOOOO pretty Anita!! Love the layout and your softly colored blooms AND the hidden “thanks”…lovely, lovely card!! :0)
One more technique mastered, dear friend! This is one gorgeous watercolored card. I almost missed the sentiment so perfectly camouflaged within that amazing floral panel. I do love this one, Aretha; it’s just beautiful!! ; ) Missing you every single day. xoxo
Loose watercolor escapes me sometimes too, Anita, but you seem to have mastered it here. The black lines set the panel off perfectly.
Super design and you maybe out if your confoet zone with the watercolouring but you are rocking it! I love all the arty splashes too and adding that lovely dimension with the sentiment makes for the perfect finishing touch
Anita, this is such a lovely card. Yes, I am partial to flowers and watercoloring and a bit of black and well your sentiment treatment just shines to top off all my favorite design elements including a touch of yellow/gold. You ROCKED it.
Hi Anita! Bonjour! It’s now clear that I must get this set off my wish-list, and into a cart [along with Fleur 2]!! What a beautiful card on a pretty grey day in my part of the world! I love the look of loose, whimsical water coloring – you’ve done it perfectly! xx

This is a breath of fresh air Anita! Your watercoloring looks fantastic and I like the partially camouflaged sentiment. Another lovely card!
Love your beautiful card…your sweet floral panel is so amazing!
Yes, I’ve got my eye on some Pink Fresh goodies too, but I have to use what I have got first lol. Love the panel and hidden sentiment, you have created such a pretty design Anita!
So pretty, Anita! The colours are bright and beautiful. The dimensional hidden die cut technique looks fabulous on the Thanks. x

Based on how gorgeous your card is, I’d say you’ve mastered watercolouring! Your garden of flowers is positively stunning…and has all the more impact on this cool autumn/winter day here in Alberta! The black framing and nestled thanks make for one lovely design! Swoon-inducing, my friend!

I’m a huge fan of Pink Fresh, too, and your card reflects why. Love the delicate, beautifully painted blooms, the hidden sentiment, spatters and the black outline. How you managed to make this so clean looking is beyond me. Must be your magic fingers. Just such a lovely card that it tugs at my heart.
What a great ad for Pink Fresh, Anita! This card is so pretty with your floaty flowers which you’ve beautifully watercolored in a loose arsty way! I adore how you did your hidden sediment and matching schplatters!! Are you settled back in? I miss you lots!! Sending love and hugs, Darnell
Bises xx
I love this style of card, Anita, and your loose watercoloring really made it extra special! Love the hidden thanks die in there as well. Very pretty card!
beautiful design, anita! love the soft and loose watercoloring on all the pretty blooms!
I enjoyed your card Anita even though it may be out of your comfort zone I find it very appealing and one I would case. The shadow image technique I love to do and matching foam works well. Hope all is well at your house. Happy Fall dear friend. Barb
I love how you stepped outside your ‘orderly’ comfort zone with your watercoloring, Anita! This is such a stunning card and your color palette is so pretty!
I’m loving Pink Fresh Studio, too…especially their liquid watercolors…delish 🙂
This is such a lovely card – I esp love the colors you’ve used – really stunning! Thanks so much for joining us this month at Happy Little Stampers Watercolor Challenge
So pretty, Anita!!
So sweet! Love the colors!
Gorgeous card, Anita. Your watercoloring is wonderful. I love your choice of colors and those splatters are the perfect finish.
Your carefree florals look fantastic in watercolors! And I love the bits of sparkle and hidden sentiment–beautiful card!
Pinkfresh is certainly hard to resist, eh? Love what you’ve done with those delicate blooms. And the die cut.
So very beautiful is your card with this strip of whimsical flowers and the camouflaged word die! Off to check out this company…
Love the whimsical look of the flowers! No wonder you wanted to have this set! Your coloring looks fab and I always love this die cutting technique for sentiments… It looks like magic! 🙂 xxxx
Love the sweet images wonderfully watercoloured, Anita! I can see why this makes you happy … it makes me happy to! Lovely card! xx
Your watercolouring is so fresh and pretty Anita – I’m a bit anally retentive when it comes to colouring and a messy watercolour technique just doesn’t do much for me at all. It always looks messy when I do it but yours just looks arty!
Lovely stamping! Thanks for playing along with our monthly challenge at Pinkfresh Studio!
Hi Anita it’s been an age since I passed by and I can see you are still making the most beautiful cards. Gorgeous stamping and heavenly coloring a real beauty.
Mark
Pink Fresh is also on my radar…..one of those days, when I will have more time again…my next life, perhaps? Lovely card, so you! Those delicate flowers colored to perfection!
This is so pretty. I am amazed at your watercolor for the tiny images!! They look so fabulous! I love Pink Fresh but have not bought anything from them because the images are tinier then what I am used to and intimidate me. You totally ROCKed this!!
Congratulations on your Work it Wednesday win. I knew this card was a winner.
