Time Out DT #23, Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash & JITW, Uniko #17, SSS Wednesday 21 Jan

Our wonderful new Time Out challenge has gone live this morning … and this fortnight our theme is ‘Valentine’s Day’ with the optional twist of hearts.  Here’s my heart laden card …

Time Out DT 23, LIM 207, W&W Birthday Time Out          Grab button for Uniko Studio Challenge

I marked a grid in pencil on the base card as a guide for my stamping, chose three shades of four colours of ink (the final one is a light turqoise, but it wouldn’t come out in the photo as it is IRL!) … and stamped away with Winnie & Walter‘s little heart-in-a-circle.  I took it really carefully … the tricky bit was holding my breath while I did all the lining up … phew!  Finished off with a sweet little W&W sentiment.

So, where will your creative imagination take you with this theme … romantic, whimsical, friendly, fun … oh, the possibilities!  As usual, our overall winner will be invited to be a Guest Designer for a future challenge and in addition, if you use the twist, you’ll have the random chance to win a $15 voucher from STAMPlorations, our sponsor.  In addition, if you leave a comment on Shery’s Time Out post at STAMPlorations, you could win a stencil pack in another random draw!

I do hope you’ll be able to find time to play along … all the details are over at the Time Out blog, along with plenty of inspiration from the DT and our lovely GD, Valentyna.  Look forward to seeing you in the gallery!

I’m linking up with …

Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash/JITW – The celebrations are still going on … this time I’m joining in with Shay’s ‘One’ Challenge … my repeat stamped heart-in-a-circle.

Wow, you must have a steady hand Anita! lol I love your little heart in a heart stamp and it looks so cute lined up and stamped out in all those fun colors. I just watched Jennifer McGuire do hearts in a circle like this! I am stunned and amazed that you ladies make it look so simple. Love, love the card! Hugs, Brenda

That little heart stamp is serving you well, Anita. I’ll have to try that “holding your breath” trick because your stamping is perfection.

You sure are making fun cards with that stamp! Love this one and I am happy to hear you had to make a grid for yourself, because I was wondering how you got them lined up so well. Beautiful!

You are killing me with your gorgeous creations with that one little stamp. I saw it was a winner in your last card, but can’t remember where now–big congratulations. This is a beautiful design, and absolutely perfectly executed. Tell me you did not throw away a ream of paper trying to get this one perfect.

Wow! Four rows, three images per row….that`s a whole lot of breath holding! I bet you felt light headed and your heart was likely pounding a mile a minute as you stamped the last two or three images! Fantastic job Anita! Love the soft, pastel colors and in awe once again of your creativity!

Seriously gorgeous!! What a great idea for the one little stamp … it looks like a million bucks here! And, I have to say, that sentiment is one of my favorites. I use it everywhere … on dies, inside the card, on envelopes. Usually just the “hugs” or “kisses” but sometimes the whole sentiment. In fact, I’ve used it so much I have it permanently on an acrylic block on my desk. Love how it looks as the main sentiment on your card!

I would be so afraid to make a card like this – I would be certain that the very last image would stamp wrong. But it is a fabulous look – I love the rainbow of color!

How do you get the stamps so straight? I think I would have to stamp this a million times and then some and then wind up throwing it away because my stamping is never in line like that! I love the pretty rainbow colors you used and that fun stamp. Makes me want it!!
