Time Out DT #30 Mid Challenge Reminder, Virginia’s View #14, SSS Monday 4/5, SSS Wednesday 6/5, SSS Work It Wednesday – April

Our Home Sweet Home challenge at Time Out is still going on … and you have almost a week to play along if you haven’t already … or if you’d like to play again!  Here’s my card …

Time Out DT 30RTime OutThis time I made a little floral posy, inspired by the middle cushion on the bed in our inspiration picture … picking out the black from the furniture and all the white from the ceiling and RHS wall …

The blooms are from Papertrey‘s Friendly Flowers, die cut, stamped and mounted on different depths of foam dots.  The sentiment is a blend of Winnie & Walter‘s In A Word: Happy Cutaway (die), double clear embossed to make it shine … and an Annabelle Stamps’ birthday (sadly no longer operating).  I stamped the stripes (Papertrey) onto the base before adhering the finished card panel flat onto it.  Some black gems in the flower centres finished it off.

Would you like to join in?  All the details are over at Time Out … together with a heap of inspiration from the amazing DT and from our super talented and lovely Guest Designer, Joyce from Cards By The Sea (go for a visit … take supplies … there’s always so much to inspire there!)   As usual, our overall winner (as chosen by the DT) will be invited to be a Guest Designer for a future challenge … it could be you!  Hope you’ll be able to take time out and have some fun with this picture … we’d love to have you … look forward to seeing you in the gallery!

I’m playing along with …

Virginia’s View – Layers and Dimension

SSS Monday – Use Coral (one of those sweet blooms!)

SSS Wednesday – Let’s Get Sentimental

SSS Work It Wednesday – Use Yellow (another of those sweet blooms!)

Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Lots of drama here! The black bold sentiment is striking and adding the shine adds to this. The stripy border pulls all this together-love it x

This is just fantastic, and I do like how we picked the same flowers to use. Must mean that we got it right, yes? I really like how your bouquet has so many different dimensions, and your ‘birthday’ is so perfectly nestled underneath your die cut happy.

Obviously I’m not the only one who LOVES the black & white border!!! Your corners designs meet perfectly in every corner – …. a two pair event ??? Tons of spankin’ clean white space makes the flowers and the bold sentiment practically jump right off the paper!
