Hello! I’m sharing a card this evening to welcome a new little soul into the world … you may already have heard about her arrival around blogland. Our teamie at Time Out, Shery and her husband (of STAMPlorations fame!) have a sweet new addition to their family … baby Kathryn has made her appearance! The girls on the DT are celebrating with cards (of course!) over on the Time Out blog … why not pop over and enjoy all the gorgeousness … we’d be delighted to have you visit! Many congratulations, Shery … wishing you all many blessings, joy and happiness as you start this new adventure together!
I cut the tag (WPlus9) once in yellow and once in white, masked, stamped and coloured the cutie pie chickadees from Technique Tuesday, adhered the two tags together, slightly offset, and added a twizzle of twine. The French sentiment (Papertrey) was stamped onto a hand cut banner and popped up on the tag … it means ‘little sweetie’ or ‘little darling’ … definitely not ‘little cabbage’ … which is what you get from a translation programme!! The tag was popped up on a panel of embossed card … which was popped up on the card base. I added a generous coating of Wink of Stella to the chickadees to finish … after all, what’s a celebration without sparkle? Want to see …

They’ve all said it, Anita. Cute, adorable, darling, sweet. All adjectives apply to this terrific card with my favorite birds on it. I never thought to use them for a baby card but the three together are perfect.
Lol – nothing wrong with little cabbage. Both of mine looked like cabbage patch kids when they were born! Those chickies are the sweetest..I don’t think I’ve ever seen that stamp before
Little cabbage, thats so funny!!! I actually have a photo somewhere of me around the age of 2 in my undies and pigtails, hiding amongst my Dad’s giant cabbages. I consider myself the first Cabbage Patch Kid!! I love those little birdies with their mega long legs, they are so cute and love the dotty background.
